Edging onto the starting grid is this https://www.scalemates.com/kits/ma-scale-85-ferrari-712-m-1010--1072520 And now you know as much as me!! No, that's not right, because I know what it looks like And now you know as much as me! Quite possibly more, though I have heard of Andretti. I got this because it was bundled in with the Porsche 910 that I built for the 10th Anniversary GB. As such I didn't necessarily want it, and when I looked inside the box I wasn't sure I wanted to build it.. Largely because of what's not in the box, namely any instructio
With two of my current builds pretty much complete it seems time to introduce another project. This one is a little different from my usual 1:24 plastic car kits; it's a whitemetal 1:43rd kit from SMTS. Why this subject? Because a friend of mine has a TVR S2 (and a Triumph Spitfire) and once said that he'd like a model of the TVR or something close as he's never been able to find one. At least it gave me plenty of contemplating or confusing time. to re-cap... I was going with the Broden EAA VC10, but @Roland has that thoroughly under control, and having seen the state of the tail... You see, like many of us the new year brings a comiment to finishing some builds, so I want a mojo boost. Next on the list was a Midland Railway 10 ton brake van, I first came across these 40 yea
A christmas gift of one of my favourite vehicles and something completely different modelling wise for me. Here's the contents (plus a bit of paint I've splashed on) The kits a bit of a contrast; the body has a some lovely crisp recessed panel lines and the cabin is OK for the size. The observant of you will have noted that there are only 4 wheel and there's no tread at all on the tyres, not sure if there's anything that can be done to improve that. Anyway a bit of fun, I'll probably do a little dio but not decided what yet.
