Foreword: When I have begun this project, I had a lot to learn about this legendary car that I had decided, very lately (I was about to build another legendary Ford, the T model), to construct. I just knew that I loved her unique and dynamic design, and that I intended to build a red Convertible version, like the one belonging to the father of one of my good friends... I even didn't make the difference between the Coupe and the Fastback versions, what would lead me to order the Fastback 1/24 Revell kit, while the conversion to a Convertible would be much more easy from a Coupe.

Yeah, why not? Another kit I have clear memories of, up there on the Woolworths Wall of Kits, with the Corsairs strafing the airfield while a flight of Dinahs do their best to get away through the bullets and bombs. That and the cool tiger on the tail. What wasn't to like for the 10-year-old or thereabouts me. I think this was the first Japanese aircraft I ever built. I know I had an Airfix Zero, but it was painted. I also had a Revell Tony and Frank but they were painted too - not necessarily in appropriate colours. I know the Dinah wasn't

GEMINI-TITAN II LAUNCH COMPLEX 19 1:144 scale diorama source - NASA 2015 is the 50th anniversary of the first two-manned space flight using the Gemini space capsule on a Titan II launch vehicle. The launch of the first manned Gemini craft took place with Gemini 3 on 23rd March 1965; two previous launches were unmanned; with the purpose to test all systems and functionalities of the Gemini and Titan II rocket system.
