Hello everyone … I am present my 3rd RFI of the year. It is the 1/72 Matchbox Hawker Tempest Mk.II. It was built in the Matchbox group build and was built a in the markings of 152 Squadron “Black Panther’s”. A few with its older cousin, my Car door Tiffy build. NEI Brewster Buffalo B-396
Corsairfoxfouruncle posted a topic in Ready for Inspection - AircraftHello everyone … I started this build 11+ months ago for the Classic Matchbox group build. Sadly life stepped in the way more than once this year so Im just finishing it up now. It is of course the classic Matchbox kit built to represent a Dutch Buffalo flying in the Netherlands East Indie’s early in WW2. Please feel free to comment or ask questions. I have added a link to the build thread in case you may be interested. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235108245-well-hello-its-a-buffalo/ Dennis
Hello everyone … I present to you my 2nd build from the Matchbox nostalgic group build. It is in the markings of the 645th B.S, 410th B.G., 9th A.A.F. The kit is the older 1/72 Matchbox kit with no modification, the only decals are nose art, star & bars, and codes everything else is painted. The nose is painted to represent an A-20J bomber variant. The young enterprising officer is hoping to lure in enemy aircraft to a frontal attack. This would allow him to open up all 6 .50’s on an unsuspecting German pilot. Yes the props spin in case anyone wondered. Hello everyone for my 2nd entry I will be adding PK-120, Douglas A-20 Havoc/Boston. I will most likely go with an A-20 but I do like the Boston. The kits decals are better than my Tempest sheet so have some options. My kit is a bagged kit so took the image of the box from scale-mates. This is the bulk of the bits, the wings were previously glued and some minor sanding has occurred. These were extras in the bag. And finally the decals. Please feel free to ask questions, pist comments or thoughts. Dennis
