Hello Dears, Every year, its Corsair, but there should be 2 Corsair in 2019 !! Sem Fi because it's a US Marines Corsair ! My first build for 2016. Got inspired by the weathered birds from Operation Serval in Mali . 1/48 Hobby Boss Rafale B. Built the kit OOB. Used Tamiya acrylics for painting and oils for weathering. The cockpit canopy fit was surprisingly bad for a Hobby Boss kit. But other than that it was a straight forward build. Now lets look at the pictures. And finally pictures of Stable Mates Let me know how you like it Regards Vivek
Hi All, Following my recent Trumpeter MiG-15UTI, here is Hobby Boss's 1/48 MiG-17F. The paint is Mr Color silver and I had some trouble getting a nice smooth finish! The full story can be read at www.jonbryon.com/MiG17F.html. Kit decals were used. Additions included Ciro resin wheels, Quickboost resin ventral fin, and Master turned brass pitots and gun barrels. Overall it was a nice build. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome. Jon
