This is my second build of a Hasegawa 1/48 Fw190 this being an A-8 version. this was the 'new/improved' moulding of the Fw190. Again this has been in my stash for years, so this Fw along with an A-4 were decided on as easy builds rather than anything more time consuming! This A-8 was virtually an oob build using :- Eduard Photo etch for the Hasegawa kit Canopy/Wheels & fan from Eduard Fw190 spares. EagleCal & spare decals AK Real Colours paints. This was a satisfyingly easy build no real problems, except the EagleCals! Not the decals fault as such, these have been stored in my 'decal library' for about 20 odd years and have not stood the test of time well!! I ended up only using the 'Serpents' which although broke up I was able to reconstruct. The remaining markings broke up and were unusable, so spares from other sources were used. The machine represented is from 8./JG.300 early 1945 (source profile/photo Luftwaffe Im Focus). The Eduard kits completely surpass these Hasegawa Fw190s and I certainly won't be purchasing/building anymore!!!! Thanks for looking Cheers Andy

Hello everyone... This is my first of two builds in the group build. My favorite fighter of the war is obviously the Corsair. My favorite Italian fighters are the Macchi Mc.202/205 family, they have such sleek lines and remind ne of the interwar racers they're born from. I will be building Hasegawa’s venerable classic kit in 1/48 scale. Yes Im certifiable as I plan on free handing the smoke ring camouflage. I am compelled to do this as Ive wanted both this plane and camouflage in my collection for close to forty years now. Here are the obligatory sprue photo’s. The second build will be from the cover art, a 112 Squadron KittyHawk III. Please feel free to ask questions, post comments, and or add thoughts. Dennis

Hello everyone... Im going to be building an 1/48th RF-4B Phantom. It will be aircraft #7347 of VMFP in 1979. I built this kit sometime around ‘83-‘84 it was one of my best at that time as I took a careful approach to painting it. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/0/0/6/657006-67-instructions.pdf Sadly it didn't survive, well at least not all of it. My friend asked if he could saw the nose off and use it for an RF-4C build in 1992. That model still live today in his collection. I would love to build the testors kit, with the Green tail and Gold wolfshead logo. However those kits & markings are as Rare as 🦄💩. Seeing as its the markings I'm wanting to replicate I will be building this kit Hasegawa kit # PT 31 https://www.scalemates.com/kits/hasegawa-07231-mcdonnell-douglas-rf-4b-phantom-ii--114277 There F-4B kit with the appropriate changes in plastic to get an RF as well as the Correct Decals. This is a question for @Dansk as this kit is a pre-owned kit. My friend started the work many years ago and essentially it is many parts removed from the sprues. The wings are glued together and some of the cockpit is started. Does this fall under the 25% mark ? Please feel free to question, comment, and or post thoughts. Dennis
