This is my entry for KUTA VIII, four 1/144 Tornado's one from each of the countries that operate them. They were started for Merv's memorial GB and whilst a couple were close I failed to complete them by the date. I know that the GB remains open ended to allow further updates, but I want to get them finished off and this will hopefully give me the drive to do that. Two of the entries may be considered a little to advanced and if that is the case then I will gladly refrain from updating those, but here goes. First up is Dragons 1/144 F.3. On this my second set of builds for the GB, I plan to use the Revell 1/144th kit for examples from Luftwaffe, Italian Airforce and RSAF. As the kits are basically the same I intend to include them as a single topic. If the mods would like me to split the builds then please let me know. The Luftwaffe example is an ECR in the 2011 Tiger Scheme and will be made out of the box For the Italian IDS - ECR I am going to use this kit and for the RSAF IDS I am using a GR1 kit. For the Italian and RSAF aircraft I am going to use decals from the excellent MARK1 book- 32 replies

Ok off with another group build. For this one i’m going nice and simple, no resin, no PE bit, no extras at all ............ ell it’s a bit hard to imagine a resin cockpit an PE bits for this scale! As this will be my first ever 1/144th scale model, I’ve chosen something nice a simple, Dragon Tornado F3, and guess probably 50% of the build will be Tonkas!!! This is a two in one model so I get to build two, think i’ll be leaving the U/C up (said it will be simple) and mount them flying in formation. Think this bit will probably take the longest. Obligatory pre-start pics. Gee it's small
