Beautiful job & nice presentation -
Cool photo story. Great post! How they mask all those compound curves is really amazing. A decal sheet of that gorgeous jet would prompt me build another F3

Beautiful job on this one Al. You did the kit justice!

Amazing work throughout. Stunning! Is the Revell kit a re pop of the Hasegawa kit ?

Man that looks cool. Good job

Very nicely done

It's funny no matter how big our workbench we end up building our models on the last six inches of available space in the debris field.

Simply superb!

Craig This is not the site I had when I built mine but there are some really good shots here. I think I used a Tigerwing Tornado data decal sheet I bought out of Hong Kong for most of the generic jack and tie down markings. I made paper patterns for the sponson mounted MAWS units and made them with styrene sheet, Grante Line bolts and a punch die set for the jammer antennas and made a set pretty easily. You can see them below. I may still have the patterns if you need them. Milt Puma Walkaround

Thanks Craig! I remember the side windows dont fit at all. They fall straight through. I had to make an entirely new set out of clear styrene. The dashboard in the kit is of an ancient civilian version. I had to scratch build all that new. The rotor blades were the wrong shape and I added a fillet at the base of each to correct the shape. I added the sound padding on the ceiling interior. I use Johnson & Johnson Back Patch backing plastic and painted it. It was a dead perfect match and would work in a 1/32 Huey if I ever build one. I used A mix of decals and printed the Sq. door emblem my printer. Lastely try and find the original Matchbox issue of the kit. By the time Revell was given the molds in the nineties they were shot. with sink marks everywhere, flash and loss of crisp detail. I used a Matchbox kit and a Revell kit just for the update parts like the air filters, IR jammers and sensors. It was kept for its backup parts only as I found the later issue kit really lacking in quality. Good luck More photos here. SVSM Contest Page 10

I have the instructions for the regular older 1/32 Puma kit but not the tigermeet kit. My kit is done so you can have them.Would those do? MP

Outstanding! Just fantastic work -
You did a great job. First one completed I've seen and it looks spot on.

Really nice work

Absolutely stunning! Done just right too. I have Paul Fishers 1/32 resin monster kit but haven't pulled the trigger on tackling all that resin. I hope mine turns out half as good as yours.

Unreal work. Great attention to detail and beautifully done sir! -
Tank 152 Sorry. My photography skills are limited. This shot someone took at a local showing. I will try to take some more soon. Thanks for the compliments gents! Milt

Thsi is the Pacific Coast 1/32 TA-152H kit that was available a few years ago. It was a rough slog of a build. Very poor fit with a putty party to boot. I almost boomeranged it over the back fence twice. Inaccuracies are legion on this model. I had to make an entirely new prop as the one from the kit was so poorly rendered. Painted with Xtracolor and MM enamel paints. Decals were from the kit and were quite good. I used a cockpit from a Hasegawa Dora and added a few details to distinguish it as a 152. The Zoukei Mura kit was not in existance when I built this kit. But in the end it looks like Kurt Tanks beautiful creation and it has done very well for me at many regional contests. So I can't complaint too much I guess. Thanks for looking. Milt

A couple people here asked me to post other models I had done after my first "inspection" post which was my F-104G I built this 1/32 Tornado kit ten years ago using Paragon, TAC Scale Dynamics, CAM, Eduard, Flightpath, Reheat dials and Pilots. Its armed with Flightpaths gorgeous Sea Eagle missiles. It was painted internally with MM enamels and outside with Xtracolor enamels. Most the kit decals were simply unuseable. The decals are from Flightpath, Tiger Wings and self made artwork on my MAC with my Alps 5000 printer. The couple photos I had of the real plane at the time, showed it to be spotless, and very prestine, so I kept the weathering minimal. I have to say that the Tornado is at the top of my very short favorite jet list. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for looking. Milt

Not only are JP resin castings top notch and delivered quickly to the US, but he helped me with some F-104G technical explanations that really helped me finish that jet. Great guy for sure.

G factor models also makes the fold mechanism in detailed brass. I have one but can't remember how much it was
