  1. Amazing work. Love the lighting system.
  2. I built the Matchbox Puma several years ago and did have a few fit problems with it. The glazing I dont remember being a huge issue. I had to scratch build a new dash board. The rotor blades need reshaping for military use. The raised panel line and rivets lost to sanding were replaced. I used two or three sets of Eduard seat belts to outfit the rear cabin seats. The details were very soft and flash prevelent on the newer Tiger Meet kit as opposed to the older white plastic civilian unit I primarilly used. The old kit was sharp and details crisp. The model was a huge hit at every IPMS show I took it to. Here is a link with a couple photos; http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air...mp;fromsearch=1
  3. Maybe Xtradecal or Two Bobs will produce these decals. Hint....hint. :-)

    Xtracolor

I exclusively use Xtracolor on my aircraft models. To wash I either use a water color sludge wash and wipe method or a product called Turpenoid for a oil wash onthe panel lines. This all after giving the Xtracolor at least a week to dry. Putting a seal coat over Xtracolor kind of ruins the entire purpose.
  6. I had my doubts at first with you starting with the same big toy F-14 my son played with a coulple years ago. It had motorized retracting wings and jet sounds. But you sir have mad skills and are far beyond anything I could do. Bravo!! Cant wait to see more. Milt
  7. Beautifully built and painted. Beautifully presented.
  8. Shaun Thanks for the nice compliment. Answering your question I used Xtracolor X254 Basalgrau RAL 7012 (Grey) and X251 Gelboliv RAL 6014 (Green) on my F-104G. Best enamel paints on the market IMO. I won't use anything else on my aircraft. MP
  9. I used Xtracolor X252 Weissaluminum RAL 9006 on this 1/32 Hasegawa kit and was very pleased with the results. I tried some of the other paints suggested on different sites on the net but Xtracolor did the Luftwaffe Starfighter just right IMO. The nose I painted with Humbrol Gloss White with a few drops of medium grey to make it an off white tone. MP
  10. Dispite it's age this build still looks amazing. Nice job!
  11. Nicely done pair by the Starfigher zen master. Build quality looks top notch on both birds. Keep em coming! Milt
  12. Nice build of a difficult kit. Well done!
  13. Truly an eye pleaser. The build quality is top shelf and the weathering is spot on.
  14. Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I'm glad everyone liked my Tornado. About the figures; These were from the brilliant Reheat line that went extinct in the early nineties. They made several great figures. Anyone know what happened to Reheat? Milt
  15. Very nice weathering and terrific workmanship. Nice to see someone other than myself using Xtracolor enamels. MP
  16. A piece of history and a conveinient paper weight all on one. LOL
  17. I had to go back and read your header post that it was in fact 1:72 scale. I thought for sure it was either 48 or 32nd scale. Unbelievable work all around. Bravo!
  18. A brilliant 109. Very well done. Glad you liked the G Factor gear. I patterned them a couple years ago for G Factor, so I would have them for my own 106G6. Someday I may actually build it and I hope it looks half as good as yours. Milt
  19. Really liking the faded patchy look on both Starfighters. Looking forward to more progress pics. Milt
  20. Seeing your gorgeous Helldiver makes me want to build mine. The weatthing is perfect. Nice new sig photos too.
  21. This is hands down the coolest what if I've ever seen. And it's all put together perfectly. In person it just too much to take in. A real stunner Phil.
  22. Superb craftsmanship on every level. This is one beauty of a Starfighter.
  23. So here is my progress so far on C & H Aero Miniatures TF-104 conversion for the 1/32 Hasegawa F-104G. Its been a very rough go so far. The resin parts are somewhat warped and had to be straightened in hot water. There are just a few air bubbles in the outside edges so that was nice. The basic shape is pretty good and look good compared to line drawing I have. I am using two True Details F-104 cockpits although the rear pit looked a bit closer to the C & H rendering and was an easier fit so I re-did a few of the obviously wrong control panels with new buttons, knobs, and dials, from Reheat's brass range. The C & H seats were nicely cast but very basic and were subed out for AMS Resin's beautiful castings of Martin Baker Q7 seats instead. The side panels had to be adjusted to fit in their new side walls once I ground out an 1/8 inch of resin with a moto tool. I have been wearing a full two filter ventilated gas mask for most of the grinding sessions and there have been plenty. The trenches for panel lines will be filled and restored with fine raised lines and line rivets exactly to look like the rest of the kit. I hope to make a sister Luftwaffe squadron ship to my resently completed 1/32 F-104G pictured below. JaboG yet unknown. I have the big Daco Decals set from Astra so I can make any Starfighter Germany flew in regular colors. Sorry Rod, no NMF for Franky here. This resin dust is hell enough buddy. I want to thank my pals Brian Scott, Starfighter and Rod (Metal God) Bettencourt for their continued help and inspiration on this daunting build. I will post more photos as I am able. Enjoy and feel free to call me insane! Milt
