  1. I like it. No love it. It looks exactly like the one I built in 2004. An excellent job. MP
  2. Keep in mind the molds are very worn after so many years. My new Revell Germany BGS kit was full of sink marks, flash everywhere , and soft detail. That was why I bought the old white styrene first issue Puma. kit on EBay. I used the IR jammers. Antennas and other fiddley bits the then new BGS kit had. The rest of that model went straight to the trash. It was really a sad molding side by side with the first pressing kit. Even the new glazings were wavey and rough. Didn't use those either. So buyer beware. Lets get a good reveiw of the new release before you guys shell out your money. Milt
  3. It looks pretty darn good to me and your that much better for mine is still in the box. Great job!
  4. Your daughter has great taste in model kits and you've got great skills in building them. An unbeatable family team effort. Keep on posting your progress. MP
  5. The Matchbox kit can be made into a very respectable early HC1 with a bit of work. I used both the ancient white Matchbox and the BGS release to get the results seen below. I built this kit several years ago and did very well with it. I had to make some of the decals using a printer. A whole new dash board was scratchbuilt using Reheat dials and bezels. I will try to post a picture of the dash if I can find one. There was a lot of interior work as well. It's mounted permanantely to its base because of all the antennas and delicate add ons. The kits fit wasn't perfect but if I could pull it off anyone could do it.
  6. First off file a complaint with EBay and the seller. I had a fellow sell me a ""complete box sealed" Shelby Cobra car model, that every part had been torn off its Sprue point and the chrome and glazing was loose in the box and so scratched it may be not useable. I got a complete refund. Forget trying to salvage this kit. Just proceed to buy another one off EBay MP
  7. Every angle of every component is beautifully photographed. Lots of weapons configurations are pictured on European G models. No other book or website has ever shown all the awesome weaponry the Starfighter could carry. If you like modeling the 104 this book is a must have. MP
  8. Whoa! That is so cool! Great model build and good back fill story. Well done!
  9. There were a few USAF pilots that flew full time with NATO Air Forces so your pilot is perfectly fine in his office. Nice job. Love the creativity.
  10. Don't feel bad. I too missed the F-104 STGB deadline. Your effort would have been worthy of my vote in the final tally. An excellent job!
  11. A real inspiration for those of us who have this kit. Just amazing work.
  12. Fantastic job. I guess I'll have to dig mine out and start it now thanks to you. Splendid work sir.
  13. Fantastic! Love your Mirage. Great job on every aspect of the build!
  14. Beautiful job. If I didn't know what scale it was, from all the detail you added I would have to guess 1/32. Stunning work indeed!
  15. Your doing a fine job. The cockplt looks great. I built this great old kit a couple years ago. I use the Phoenix cockpit along with Eduards interior set. The only issue I remember now is the rear side gazing is a pretty poor fit. Post pics when it's complete . I would really like to see it. MP
  16. I have a spare decal sheet for this kit if you should need it please let me know. Can't wait to see this split scheme take shape. MP
  17. Looking pretty fantastic so far. Like the pilot you painted too. Can not wait to see this zipper complete. MP
  18. Progress is slow but here area couple shots of my TF under way. The underwing tanks are from Heritage. Not very accurate but they will look great when painted. Milt
  19. I am building one of these Luftwaffe TFs at the moment as well. Yours looks absolutely awesome and I hope mine turns out half as nice. Terrific job all around. MP
