  1. if i recall correctly those ships spent much time flying in and around Sloane's Super Star Destroyer and only briefly flew past this downed Star Destroyer...not sure how big a falcon and tie fighter would be in 1:25000 scale lol
  2. The base is made from a foam block purchased from a florist which is used to mount dried flowers for about £1:50. I then made a hole in the top section to house the Star Destroyer and then covered it in B&Q tile adhesive. It was then painted using tamiya and vallejo acrylics with additional weathering been done using artist pastels. Finally the whole thing was mounted on a cheap picture frame I got from asda for about £2:50
  3. Hi all, i just finished this kit, it's the 1/250000 scale bandai Imperial Star Destroyer that you see crashed landed on the planet of Jakku in the new Star Wars film: The Force Awakens.
  4. Its 3:20am on the 10th of September and I'm in the departure lounge of Glasgow airport, about to celebrate my 45th birthday in ibiza!
  5. The Raptor's tooling had been completed well before xmas 2015 and yet at the moment Moebius seems more interested in promoting their other products...can't believe you've not heard about Dragon's 1/48 imperial walker kit or seen the shots of it on this forum.
  6. We are now into September which marks the beginning of autumn and several manufacturers promised us fabulous new sci-fi kits which have failed to arrive; Dragon who promised us a plethora of star wars kits, walkers, chicken walkers, snow speeders etc and Moebius with their BSG Raptor which is already a year and a half late. call me cynical but surely this wasn't just a publicity stunt to drum up business for their existing stock of regular kits and yet you can't seem to find any information regarding their actual release dates on their respective sites.
  7. glad to hear there are more english instructions as their diagram maps can be a little hard to follow at times, do you get a proper pilot as well as the flat figure?
  8. I take it you have not seen the new star wars film "The Force Awakens". I won't spoil it for you, watch the film and you will figure it out
  9. Sorry but they have ripped me off in the past and I don't trust them. Anyone else stock them in the UK?
  10. Well these new toys/models do look interesting, perhaps Revell is going in a different direction than bandai. At tbhe moment they seem to be planning to release more Rogur One kits, although it is early doors at the moment.
  11. Not sure what those orange blocks are for on each side of the walker's torso are but it does have it's own lights and sound so at least you wont have to buy LEDs to light up the cockpit.
  12. I think you've done an excellent job so far on that kit
  13. I've dealt with jimi before and would recommend him and his excellent customer service. Any idea when this product will be available warren?
  14. Pathfinders annual camping trip to Scarborough...move along folks nothing to see here...Thunderstruck playing in the background. Reference to the book "Maverick One" by David Blakeley
  15. £60...its a bit steep, found some on a well known auction site cheaper than that for the Tie Fighter anyway http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182247266719?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&var=484641434634&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT tbh i seem to remember paying over £50 for the Tie fighter when Fine molds made it
  16. i think this is the last instalment, not sure about the release date: January 31, 2017
  17. Just finished my copy of the second book at work two hours ago. I do hope that the new book arrives before the next film does
  18. i just wondered if anyone else is reading these books and what they think of them? I find the plots a bit obvious and lacking in details especially as they are set between the battle of endor and the battle of jakku and there is only a year time span between them. as far as i am led to believe, these books are supposed to fill in the blanks, which they don't seem to do; i realise there is still one more book to come out, probably next year but i think they could have been better.
  19. Bob, any idea what the visual difference is between a Rogue One X-Wing and ones from A New Hope? I pray they aren't repackaging the ANH kit in a Rogue One box...good luck in finding the bandai contact address
  20. You've done an excellent job of restoring and reviving your BoP
