Hi everyone, not a novice builder, but I am a novice user so bare with me. I thought I would try a work in progress project so here goes. I haven't started it yet but I thought a good idea to show the bits I have to help me along. I know this subject has been done before, but I hope to take this one step further. That's it I've done it now I've committed myself to a hard slog along with all my other projects. Found this kit in modelzone on offer. Bought this book online from poland. It also comes with some lovely plans of ever thing on the ships deck top to bottom. This small poster came with the book. Bought these items from whitensign. Bought this item from whitensign. Bought these items from whitensign. If you take a closer look at the kit it is a bit crude, but I hope to rectify this by adding a lot more detail by the way of scratch building. I love adding more detail it helps me to relax and think more about the subject I'm building. As I start this build please feel free to comment of give advice. Arrivederci for now!!!

Hi Phil, I am new to using this forum or indeed any forum for that matter. So I do hope I am doing this right. I have been watching your progress on this model and feel you are doing a wonderful job. Can I just say I am in the middle of a large project and purchased a Pontas decking kit for the New Jersey what can I say Just 'Fantastic' worth every penny.
