  1. Thanks guys, I've been working on the motley look and found that if you put on the dark wash and the before it dries flick some light wash over the dark and let it dry you get that dirty blotchy look that I was after. you can see it best on the top of the wing in the first photo.

  2. If anybodys intrested, I just noticed everything.com airbrush is selling Harder & Steenbeck Airbrush Kits. I can't remember but I seem to recall people have to buy these from aboard.

What would people recommend an H&S Evolution or a Iwata Eclipse HP-CS?

    Neil

    Hi Neil,

I've got the Evolution 2 in 1, had it two years and never had a problem and it's on the same needle set. I prefer it to the infinity too.

  3. Phil is our resident model master

    Master :smartass::smartass: I like that!!

Welcome back to the hobby Jason. Yes there is a weekly TV show starting soon and at the same time you can watch 20 odd hours of videos on everything from basic building to airbrushing and weathering. All for only £2.50 a month how cheap is that!!!!!..............

...............Is this working????????????? Oh and you will need some weathering washes :analintruder:

Only kidding, your best is to shout when you need advice on something

  4. Nice work mate!!!

Cannot wait to see the SBS on tV...when about?

    Cheers mate,

All going well the first show goes out on Monday the 4th February at 8PM.

We are just checking that the streaming broadcast can cope with 760 people at the same time, as that's how many have signed up so far

  5. I am disgusted by this so called "tutorial"!

Where is the "start the paint , which you have mixed to the constancy of milk using thinners thrice distilled over an hardwood fire ,flowing before you get to the plastic and keep it going until you are off the plastic whilst keeping at 90 degrees to the work surface and in one smooth movement, misting on several light coats until a perfect finish has been achieved" speel ?

Come on I DEMAND that every body does it properly not in this new fangled a-kril-licks but in good old fashion enamels.

    Rant over!

Bloody nice job . I might have to try acrylics now, but being a bit of a Luddite I will put it off until "later".

    :P

    enamels...enamels a-kril-licks It's the future
