  2. Look what arrived from models for sale today got out bid on one last week, it went over £25. So I dropped out had a look a models for sale and there it was .

  8. I know, you have to be a real rivet counter to notice the difference from a foot away. I was going to leave the small mouth on as it was a good fit, but as I was seeing how good it was on, when the CA gave way, so with a bit of a clean up the Tamiya one dropped in fine. So I'm back on track. The only thing is it's so well made that you have to watch out when sanding not to over do it, as the joins arent that forgiving
  9. A few more pics for you. Filled the pin marks. Refitted the big mouth intake after installing the hasegawa small mouth. Don't ask and thanks to Jay's fantastic files and sanding sponges ( available from this site @ http://www.britmodeler.com/forums/index.php?showforum=92 )I had it looking good in no time. and a few pics of were I'm at.
  10. A/B white is a pain at the best of times let alone by brush, But a good primer should help.
  11. My learned friend is correct, all modern F-16 are now two tone of light ghost gray and gunship gray so you can forget 049 after all
  12. There is only the standard tail, no paratail That said it is a separate part so I think Tamiya are going to milk it for every last type.

  14. It's for the top light gray, 053 is for the dark gray and 050 is for the underside. I'm not shore what colour to do the nose yet
  15. yep it does look odd there but yes it is right. I have it here and will be spraying over the week end. I will put up pic for you to see. You might want to hold off buying any, as the way this is going I could be wrong

Ever had one of them days I have spent the day back dating my F-16 to a small mouth with the add of a Hasegawa kit only to find out that it is a block 30 with the wide mouth all aircraft numbered up to 86262 were small mouth and after were big mouth and guess what mine is number 87229 big mouth oh well all part of the fun
  17. In Vallejo its vama053 for 36118, vama050 for 36375, vama049 for 36270 and I always use Vallejo on all my models
  18. Back to Lerx's the hasagawa AV8B dose have 100% lerxs So may be it might have, I will have a word but I was told it was just decals
