  1. Well all done, all out of the box apart from the Tamiya tape harness and a bit of wiring behind the RIOs panel. The full build is <<here>> Thanks for looking and happy modeling
  2. Thanks guys I'll get some descent photos soon. Hi Alan, the Promodeller range is my company ( www.promodeller.com ) we make a range of weathering washes and some more products coming next year. You can buy it from Antics, Models for sale, Internet hobbies and Hannants or direct of the website.
  3. Top job Perry A really nice aircraft with great presence
  4. I did one last week but converted it to a 'D'. I thought then It would be nice to do one out of the box. I would recommend it
  5. OK so it's all done but the weather is so I can't get any good photos but I thought I would show you a little sneak peek of thing to come from Promodellers next year The nice dirty streaks were made in five minutes with a new product (no name yet). You just wipe it on and that it a nice easy way to make you model extra dirty and with all the promodeller range it come off if you don't like it, that simple. There is no other weathering done with pastels or a airbrush etc.
  6. Great job Graham So the pre-shading didn't come off, but every thing else turned out just great.
  7. Looking great there Karl, some nice seam filling too.
  8. I was given it a few years ago and never got on with it. To speed things up you need a UV light but it gets hot like CA glue with a kicker. so now I just use CA glue with a kicker if that makes sense
  9. I've built one or two ......................hundred and I've got two on the go now, so I thinks I could do one more
  10. What can I say that hasn't be said already, well perhaps one or to things A great job of a tricky subject. Well done Doc top job
  11. Thanks guys, If your flat coat is like 36 grit sandpaper it will stick but I havent found I cant get it off yet. Also are you using the new Promodellers or Florymodels wash? Try using a sponge with warm water, use lots of water and it will come off and you can start again.
  12. Ah, see here I am, In a nice warm library but you only get 30 minutes. It will go out tonight speedy 1st class.
  13. That's It, I'm officially adopting Daz OK, wash on over the flat coat with the the dark dirt. let it dry And wipe off I brushed a cotton bud up and down to give it that streaky look. Because is on a flat coat it's got a dirty look to it now. It looks like it's going to have to go in the air defence role of winders and sparrows.
  14. It's OK Graham came to me with a small thin even problem Graham had trouble with thin pre shaded panel lines and asked in you could hand paint them on. I said I've never tried it and to let me know how it came out. So there you have it
  15. Daz your far to kind, I'll have to employ you so you can tell me all day
  16. Thanks Dave, It's on it way. I remember your name when I was posting it. It's a bit of both Daz as I'm using it as a test bed of a new product we're working on. So if it goes well I'll pay myself for building it and use it as a display model at the shows we hope to do next year.
  17. Keep going Jen, your doing some outstanding work. I cant wait to see it done (probably not as much as you) If your like me a hate to feel rushed, although thats a typical week here.
  18. No, but I did find the Vallejo colours for the MIG FS35237 Dark Blue/Grey 048 FS36320 Dark Compass Grey 047 FS36375 Light Compass Grey 050 Don't no how good they are though but they tend to be in the right direction.
  19. Decals on and the first flat coat on then I'll give it a wash then another flat coat.
  20. You had me going you little tease For clear parts I use a PVA called tacky glue. It dries clear and grips well. If you need a new clear part sprue for the Hasegawa 1/48 phantom, I have one here you can have if that helps.
