  1. Ah, that one has been waved off to next year, we cant decide on what markings it's going in.
  2. Thanks for all your kind words Thanks Bex, would a Harrier be more to your taste? Mental, not now I have a headache Yep that's it I've, got a bit of work with the wash still. We have two new colours coming out in February but A least I can do the family bit in the run up to Christmas. As for next year It's starts again on the 2nd with a Phantom with lots of extras, Harrier with extras and a Hog.

  4. All done. I'll get the rest up loaded and put on the inspection page
  5. Nicely done, it's looking good. Keep em coming
  6. Airbrushing acrylics dry very fast and I tend to spay all in one with no real drying times between coats, But if your going to mask with tape then I would leave it half an hour before masking. As a good starting point thin Tamiya paints 50-50. I did a spraying video with the basics <<Here>> I hope that helps
  7. Nicely done Karl. I think the camo came out a treat
  8. It's OK, he's on the ground floor.........
  9. This is where Jon throws himself out the window
  10. And a funny white and orange colour to them
  11. If there OOTB then I have a few on the go, but if it's a conversion or lots of work then I'll just work on the one
  12. This is my Standard letter to all new customers First let me explain my pricing, I charge a flat rate of $150 or £75 a day. That price includes all materials, glues, paint etc to build the models. This is my full time job and I work on the models 8 hours a day. I factor in drying times etc which obviously you are not charged for. I charge half up front and the cost of all kit parts. The remaining half plus postage on completion of your model. I will supply full detailed photos when it's completed for you to approve. With your approval you pay the remainder. And so on. I reckon on 2.5 days for a standard OOTB 1/48 and 7 days for a full detailed or conversion model in 1/48 As for advertising, no, it's all word of mouth. In fact there are four of my customers here on the Britmodeller forum. I think you may have gathered from the amount of grey aircraft I build, that most go to the US. HTH
  13. The round ones come from a local tea room and there Cakes come in them. The flat bits come from the local recycling center they have tons of the stuff. HTH
  14. Don't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I jest OK this is how I send my models though the post system First I use these round polystyrene thing for models that fit Up to a F-16 in 1/48 The thing is to get the weight off the wheels and onto the main fuselage or the strongest part of the model. So, bubble rap on the bottom, then the model. Next it's into a strong box. Next a layer of thin foam then a thick sheet of card to hold on position and brace the box. More bobble on top. Seal the hole thing up and hand over to the gods. This is how I do models that don't fit in the round ones. Touch wood, I've only had four total right offs in over 400 sent the rest were easy fixes. Hope this helps.
