  1. Hi Craig, Looking good, One thing you don't need to put a clear coat to seal the wash. You can decal over the top, just leave the wash to dry overnight. Sometimes the Alclad loses it look when it's had a clear coat over the top.
  2. I would go for Tamiya acrylics XF or flat range with a Tamiya thinner X20A mix 50-50 thicker than milk. Set the air pressure to 20PSI and blast away. you will find it easier to start with a thicker mix as the paint wont run and will stick, then when you've got the feel for it, thin the paint more and turn down the pressure for a smoother and sharper finish. Remember you can spray anything out of the airbrush, as long as the pressure is hi enough to atomise it. Have a look on my workshop videos page for some basic tips on spraying http://www.promodeller.com/workshop-videos/ We've also done a one hour video on airbrushing techniques, from using you first airbrush to weathering. It will be out soon.

  11. I had this on the tips page but here's the bit on weathering decals OK. Flat coat on and tone to dull the decals down. With a bit of dried wash on the finger I rub it over the decals Rub off any excess with a damp cloth. Next it's out with the airbrush and with a mix of 90% thinners to 10% flat black, gently blow over all the decals then it should look something like this Instead of this I hope this helps and happy modelling The full bit on weathering is <<HERE>>
  12. Great build there Merlin, Great work. But is it me or is the front end an odd shape. Not you work but the kits!!
