  1. I have my f-111 cockpits done in h317 which is a lot darker than my mrp f-105 pit. But i made a mistake, i used mrp-100 dark gull grey on the 105 and the point is that is a lot lighter than h317. Sorry about the confusion. Both claim to be fs36231. The other 36231 equivalents i have is 71.277 model air which again is darker than mrp-100. never tried to brush paint this type of paint. Regular tamiya with retarder, or my 40 year old tamiya old formula were perfect for brush painting but are nothing as aggressive as mrp. Will experiment with it since i have to wait for my order. i ordered btw ua025, 26 , 27 and 33; 71.121, 71.141, 71.312, 71.296; 28, 129 and 140. Something should come close.
  2. I took a look at humbrol and found “30 shades of grey”. From there i continued. In the end i purchased a mix of model air, model color, life color and humbrol greys. Will report back my findings cause using screen colors as reference is poor practice... thanks for humbrol reference. Curious to see how humbrol enamel does over mrp acrylic laquer.
  3. Hi all, doing some cockpit work on modern us aircraft and airbrushed mrp-097 as base coat. After doing some details, i want to do some touch ups, but i cannot find an equivalent color in my hand brushables paints. I have vallejo, mig and life color fs36320, but they are all darker than the mrp paint. What is real close to mrp 097 (not according to equivalence tables as that does not match for 097) ? Sheen i can fix later on... tx
