  1. Colford, sounds great and thanks for the advice. Not sure I want to go down the conversion route just yet, expensive and time consuming! I'm still putting off a Cheetah C and Mirage F1AZ build because of this! It may be worth me waiting then to see what Airfix may offer. They certainly seem to have upped their 'game' recently, so they may surprise us yet!
  2. Hmmm, thinking of doing the XIV E wing with the 'bubble' canopy, so might not have the same fuselage issues. Know what you mean though, it is pretty 'beefy' looking! Thanks guys, Academy it is!
  3. Thought it might be... Thanks for the advice.
  4. Apologies if this has been covered before, but what would be the best Spitfire XIV in 1:48? I'm not concerned with minor shape issues etc, just want a good quality, detailed, engraved panel line kit. Would be good to hear your views, Thanks.
  5. Looking sweet Bladerunner, nice to see your work!
  6. Nice one! Wondered what had happened to the Flossie! Looks like a bit of work re-scribing... That tail area is looking great Gajman.
  7. One day, one day... One day I'll be able to make something that excellent! Outstanding F-4F, love the weathering.
  8. Impressive work, loving this build. Not seen one of those drop tanks before...
  9. Takamota San! Very impressive, that is a fantastic Hornet, looks lovely. How did you find the kit decals? I'm thinking of getting one of these... Any fit issues or pitfalls?
  10. Looks pretty sweet to me, quite nice to see a wheels up harrier. Grey looks good, are you going to do a 'two tone' greenie one day?
  11. Pretty durn sweet! Look the business to my eye, well done on the pair. Cool base as well.
  12. Sweet looking kit, cockpit looks great!
  13. Nice tip, I've not seen that before. I will def try that in the future!
  14. Nice tip, I've not seen that before. I will def try that in the future!
  15. Like tank152, I'm not 'into' 1/32, so hadn't really heard the reviews. Sounds like it'll be a drama if they just scale it down... Would be a pity as their FW190's seem pretty spot on.
  16. Was it not very good then?
  17. Sounds good, I'll be watching this build with interest! Like the idea of the two colour schemes, will look great when finished.
  18. Thanks for the reply Andy, I will now begin my search! And thanks for the RLM colours too.
  19. Don, missed the last few days updates, your planes are looking fantastic! Incredible weathering I think, the differences between the planes are superb, a very realistic touch, something easily missed. Inspiring stuff, congrats!
  20. Ok, so not a virus! Basically someone checking whether or not Fujimi did a boo-boo and made a 1/80 F-15E. Apologies to OP.
  21. Hi all, I'm wanting to build Waldemar Wubke's Bf109E-3 of JG54, namely 'Yellow 11' that he flew during the Battle of Britain. What I'm looking for is who makes a 1/48 decal of this particular plane, and if anyone has info on the RLM scheme of the plane I'd also be grateful for that. I have tried Google et al, but all I seem to get is a certain manufacturers horrible die-cast model appear! Thanks in advance.
  22. Wowee! Superb Dora, very, very, very nice indeed. As has been mentioned by others, looks like 1:48. Great plane, can't wait to see your GB FW190's.
  23. Shaun, Nick, Graham T and Jay, Thanks for the replies, it's made my mind up! I'll be scratching the 'frog eyes' if I do a 9... Thanks for taking the time to read and reply. Unfortunately Jay, I am out of dinero at the moment! VERY tempted, but not going into overdraft! Thanks for the reminder anyways! Regards, Ruari
