  1. Old Thumper, I Can’t really speak for the rest of the US, but here in East Tennessee Airfix kits always have a good presence at our Local Hobby Town retailer, and they move really well thought I must admit the vast percentage of my hobby purchases are made online. For me personally, these new generation Airfix kits are just “the bee’s knees” striking a perfect balance between subject matter detail, and price. I’m fifty seven and have been a model builder since the early to middle 1960’s with 1/72 being my preferred scale. The last twenty plus years has seen so many innovations in our hobby, a windfall of beautiful kits, reference material and support products, that I proclaim it’s been a virtual renaissance for our beloved pastime. Furthermore, I for one couldn’t be happier to once more see Airfix at the top of their game.
  2. Like Unkempt, I too got tired of waiting for the Defiant to show up here in the States and ordered two from Hannants. Are the brisk sale elsewhere the reason for the long delay in them arriving here in the US??? ………I’ve still got my fingers crossed for a ’72 Hurricane “Tin Wing” for 2106 also. Jeff T
  3. I’m likewise very excited over the release of these, hoping they’re readily available soon....
  4. Thank you Darius, but as I only have a cell phone and Skype is not an option at this time, I'll phone as a last resort, but thank you all the same for your suggestion. It’s my partially my fault, we have come so accustom to emails and texting here in the states that sometime the obvious evades us, The PM is the logical next venue. Jeff
  5. Gentleman, Could someone help me in locating the Welsh Models resin 1/144 scale engine and propeller set for the Lockheed Constellation/EC-121. I have repeatedly emailed them regarding such, but after weeks I’ve yet to receive a reply. Likewise I have had absolutely no luck in located a set anywhere on the internet. Any assistance regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated. Kindest regards, Jeff Tabler Corryton, Tennessee USA
