  1. Just checked my Mosquito out. No issues that I can see, except for the silly little pilots.
  2. I will be doing my next one with a hard camouflage demarcation. Soft demarcation, although correct in some cases, doesn’t look ‘right’ to me.
  3. We all have had one of those kits that just won’t behave. I can airbrush loads of kits with no issues, and then can’t do it right for trying.
  4. Best of luck. On mine I omitted to fit the engine blades. Had great fun fitting the round bits down the intakes. Got there in the end. I still think my method is the best to try first.
  5. You could drill two small holes and fit some small screws to pull on, or glue two plastic bits of sprue, and then remove them with Tamiya Extra Thin when bay has set.
  6. I find the Vulcan is difficult to mask as accurately as I would like, so I am going to try the template method. I have a version of the old kit with wrap around. Looks ok, but took a lot of masking, and is probably not 100% accurate.
  7. I might give it a try on a lesser kit, as I am always trying to hone my skills. However the Vulcan I build next will have hard demarcation.
  8. My next build will be camo. I have printed off the supplied paint instruction at the correct scale, and will use them as a template to cut the masking tape. Fortunately the Vulcan top is almost 2D so only small adjustments will be necessary, I hope.
  9. My seams are practically invisible. I only glued the painted separate halves allowing the paint/glue to ouse out, and sanded smooth with Flory sticks. The supplied transfers are excellent and very thin. You have to take care to apply them before using any Microsol.
  10. My defects are minor. On main u/c leg G03 is missing a projection where it meets G20, and one main wheel G11 is missing the detail on the hub face.
  11. Mine has very fine seams needing minimum cleaning up. There appears to be some variation between samples. On YouTube Nigel had issue but Flory didn’t.
  12. Can anyone advise me of the colour of the panel behind the left main undercarriage on the early white Vulcan B2? The kit has it in light brown but I thought it was black. The old kit has it in black.
  13. Fortunately easy to make, but from the photographs I have found I cannot determine the attachment points inside the entry.
