Here the whole plane the right way up. But as you can see: the little triangular winglet on the nearer wingtip is already gone off again. Thank God I found it again. But it'll have to wait until it will be glued on again. I think that will be one of the very last items that will be fixed.

Just a little update today. I painted the housings of the antennae and de-icer bootes in black. Here is the lower side.

@RAF Laarbruch: Lex77 is right, the undercarriage and the wheel wells were painted in "Weißaluminium" which was a protection against corrosion. Also the lower side of the fuselage should also be in Weißaluminium - provided you are doing a German Air Force F-104.

@Trojan Thunder: Yes, she is quite colourful. That was the paint scheme that she wore at the end of her military career.

You are right, this is quite similar.

This is just a small update. I painted the last of the large coloured areas. You can see now that it's an Bavarian airplane coming from Germany. I hope that the undercarriage will not take as long as this last paint job did.

Brillant work on the seats. This thread will be the instruction book when I build mine.

Hi PC2012, I was wondering because I have planned to do a starfighter in the same colour scheme. In pictures you can always see the aluminium fuselage and the top of the wings in white. But of what colour are the lower sides of the wings? Best regards Siggy
