Eduard 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf-110C
georgeusa replied to George72's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
You took a somewhat difficult kit to build because of the tolerances and the design to have everything exposed and opened. You managed to close it up and the finished kit looks great. Just a beauty. Thanks for sharing. -
B-25G - Italeri 1/72 OOB (almost)

Wonderful Mitchell and the improvements you did really help make it stand out. The finish, including the decals look great. Thanks for sharing. -
(RFI) S.M. 79-II „Sparviero” 1:48 Trumpeter

Wow. The finished camo scheme is done just so well. I always like a very clean build and finish. Italian schemes are always complex and you have pulled this one off with great skill. Thanks for sharing. -
Back in Oz country... With a Sea fury....
georgeusa replied to corsaircorp's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
The blue Sea Fury is done just great. Then you gave a bonus of the beautifully built and finished Spitfire and the loaded Fury. All are really nicely done. Thanks for sharing. -
Classic Airframe kits can be quite challenging matching the plastic to the PE to the resin and hoping each design team spoke with its other mates regarding how each section will go together. Just a beautiful little plane that looks like it should have been in WWI rather than WWII. Thanks for sharing.

Just discovered this fine piece of work and am in awe of your 3d print skills. And Robby, plus the Dalek, brought back some wonderful memories of you first joining this forum and the discussions you had with Nigel about all things Dalek. I'm getting too dang old. This is amazing stuff you have done. Don't understand how to do it, but the results you get are just wonderful. Way to go. Thanks for sharing it.

Congratulations on doing such a good paint job on the yellow underside. Yellow is so hard to get right. Just a very tidy and neat build of the Zero. Thanks for sharing.

Heller 1/72 PZL.23 Karas
georgeusa replied to CheapTricked's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
One good looking set of twins there. My experience with Heller kits have been less than satisfying so even more power to your finished examples. Thanks for sharing both.- 16 replies

Bristol Beaufort Mk.IA w/Tropical Filters - ICM 1:48
georgeusa replied to Viking's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Very impressive masking skills. (Did I mention I hate masking?) Just a beautiful Beaufort that is so wonderfully finished. The attention to detail you did with the supplemental sets really set this kit off. Just a great looking finished kit. Thanks for sharing. -
Tamiya 1/48 P-51B - 339th FG RAF Fowlmere

A really nice looking Mustang with a great background story as an added bonus. Just well done. Thanks for sharing. -
It is always good to see a Catalina built up. This one is so different than normally seen in the colorful Argentinian colors. Thanks for sharing.

Airfix 2024 Club Kit 1/72 Spitfire PR.XIX
georgeusa replied to beany's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Great looking Spitfire and the way you displayed it as a wall mounted display is just ingenious. Just really well done. Thanks for sharing. -
1:48 Eduard P-51D SAAF - Ready for Inspection
georgeusa replied to shortCummins's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Really liked the way you presented the diorama with the wheels halfway up. Just a great way to show motion and to tell a story. The build and finish of the kit is also done quite well and in not so typical of a livery. Thanks for sharing. -
Airfix Bristol Beaufighter
georgeusa replied to Farmerboy's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
This is one very cleanly and beautifully built and finished Beaufighter. Just a treat. Thanks for sharing. -
Well It is a Start.. Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk V
georgeusa replied to JWFP's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Look, you are basically returning to the hobby as a novice given the time of your last build. For your first kit back, it is a very decent build. The little plastic tins of paint that came with this kit are just slightly above rubbish to use. Once you get some decent paints, you will find your finish will be so much better and easier to achieve. Just go slow and keep plodding on. The raw talent is there from your first build. Thanks for sharing and look forward to more of your posts. -
For most of us 17 kits in the stash is at least a year or two worth of build. (For me, maybe a decade). For you, that is about 2 months worth of builds. Just amazing. The F model is my favorite 109 and you have done this one justice. And it is in a desert scheme which is also one of the more attractive liveries for this aircraft. Thanks for sharing.
