Dave, I think they flew with on of the GBU-24's in the tunnel, as I am in seeing in "F-14 Tomcat Units of Operation Enduring Freedom". The reasoning why they only flew one in the tunnel was that the fins would hit each other when they where pickled. Also only nine GBU-24's where deployed by the Tomcats: VF-213 x4 VF-14 x3 VF-41 x2 The GBU-24 was dupped "pretty unreliable and a non-user-friendly weapon that doesn't have a high hit percentage" that is out of the book by LtCdr Van Kizer of VF-14. The Hobbyboss kit is the same as the Trumpeter kit but shrunk down to 48th scale, but I do know there was a gentleman who did the Trumpeter A with an Aires pit, I believe there wasn't much of that fight to get her in, I really would like to get a Hobbyboss kit, I am going to follow this build and take some notes for when I do get a Hobbyboss Cat. I can't even find the holes you are talking about. Stanton

Coming along very nice my friend I have built two D's myself but one of the D's was turned into a B. I've got the A in the stash was thinking of pulling it out to join this build But I am slowly awaiting my Intruder from Kinetic. Keep up the excellent work my friend Stanton
