  1. Now the schemes for kit FR0054 Potez 25 Salmson 18 CMb. Nr 211, matricule K454, 12 ème esc, 38 ème RAM, Thionville-Basse-Yutz, 14 th of March, 1933. 2 nd version of the insigna Nr 207, matricule K450, 12 ème esc., 38 ème RAM, Mourmelon, June 1939 (first version of the insigna, a Gaul's head) Nr 2042, matricule K168, 1 ère esc., GO I/33 (after 1931) We might have this kit (as well as the Potez 25 Renault) at end of April 2024, hopefully for the Neufgrange event (27 th and 28 th of April)
  2. Fairey Battles in 1/72 nd: at least some good news! 1 - clear parts finished (injected in totality) 2 - the person in charge will resume the work on the two missing molds in two weeks (polishing the Fuselage and Small Parts) . Now we are closer to completion. Release not before end of April 2024.
  3. I have plenty of photos, but finding one of an aircraft flown by Poles is another matter (specially for the Farman engine !) - we have to get a good photo of the fuselage, giving the serial number (which gives the Matricule under the wings), with tactical code if any, and squadron badge if any. Usually there was no camouflage, so the wings (and aircraft) were plain green, with sometime Metal engine. K055 is a Renault 12 Kg nr 1863, K505 is Nr 262, nr 162 should be K41é, but this is definitively K055 and definitively a Renault. Don't see any tactical number on fin (but there might be), nor squadron badge, but the serial might be on fuselage. V7x9 might be V789 / V799 (Re 12 Kg) V709, 719, etc up to V779 which were all Renault 12 Jc (short). The photo is quite dark, but I would rather bet on a long engine, so V789 or V799. No Hispanos in use in French army, only went to export (Greece and Abyssinia). We cannot do much with the Salmson page 55. Yes there were many Potez 25 in service in North Africa, used by the Poles. The list of aircraft is given in the book "Les Aviateurs Polonais en France en 1940", Annexe 6, pages 354 to 363. More specifically, Potez 25 in North Africa : 1018 (Rabat - TOE), 1515 (Blida - TOE), 1597 (Casablanca - TOE), 2122 (Blida - TOE), 2352 (Rabat - TOE - was supposed to have been transferred to the Navy). Well, if there are good photos, you might build a kit (Special Hobby, Potez 25 TOE) but hurry, there are not much left We might release later a small decal sheet for the Potez 25 used in 1939/40 by the Poles in France. One is quite interesting with a Potez 25 Salmson, the pilot flow quite low to impress his girl friend, and "landed" on the roof of a warehouse (13 th of May, 1940) . We are able to very well see the rudder, with the technical informations ... that may be a start.
  4. Few informations on the Potez 25 with Farman engine (a very nice scheme nonetheless with a GAO 503 aircraft), only 74 built according to the LELA book. No service outside France. For the Renault : definitively yes, some (a lot !) were still in use in 1940, many photos show German soldiers with a Potez 25 (usually Renault). A least one was used in Dakar. There were two types of Renault engine, the "long" one (12 Kg,, 550 ch), 261 built and the short one (12 Jb, 480 ch), 307 built. It will probably be possible to go from a 12 Kg to a 12 Jb by removing some plastic (usually easier than adding material), that's why we went for the 12 Kb. No sales outside France, save Brazil with 6 aircraft, short Renault engine (and a fin and rudder similar to the squared ones used on the Salmson). Some Potez 25s were still in use in Observation squadrons in 1940, including many Renault. This is good, because they kept their ring . For the aircraft shown above : - nr 1693 matricule V744 is a Renault 12 Jc (short engine) - nr 1852 matricule V967 is supposed to have a Salmson 18 CMb. It definively looks like a radial engine, and a bulky one, so that should be it. But you might have some problems if you want to model it (squadron badge ? Tactical number ?). Unless you choose to do it after the accident .... There were other Potez 25s used by the Poles in France, Page 56 - probably Lorraine TOE), page 59 top, page 59 bottom (Renault 12 Kg), and the list of identified aircraft flown by Polish airmen is in page 361/362 for the Potez 25. Farmans : 1940 to 1993 and 2332 to 2351, so two matches in the first Farman list (1940 and 1973) and one for the second (2342). Now, we just have to find some photos ... if possible from 1940 ...
  5. Schemes for the Renault engine : Schemes for FR0054 Potez 25 Salmson 18 CMb will come soon (no Spanish Republican marking) And a new boxing - FR0058 Potez 25 Farman 12 We. Only a few number in service (74 built, probably) This one will be sold only in events or directly on site, resin engine + kit FR0038 Potez 25 Hispano, no decal (for the moment). We are working on some quite spectacular schemes Who could resist such a beauty ? But for sure Britain did better with the Blackburn Blackburn (not in project ...)
  6. In 1/72 nd, there is (or was) a kit of the Spanish Vildebeest with floats - no need to go for conversion at that scale (SH did it, I am pretty sure it can be found in some shops)
  7. Please take note that Sprue F is specific for the Sa'ar version (o be released later by Special Hobby), thus will NOT be included in our kit
  8. We have not seen stencils on the Battles, but if somebody shows photos with these stencils, we still might try to stuff them into the decals sheets
  9. Some bad news, some good news ... Release date confirmed, July in Prague, work started on the decals. But we had to drop a scheme (Green one), so we go only for Blue (10-SB) and Red (5-NJ). The intended decal would have been too big (and raised the cost) so we had to make a choice. And, but this was clearly visible in the sprues layout, no external tanks, bombs, etc. Probably some masks will appear soon for the canopy (not in the kit)
  10. We should get three types of exhausts (two above the half lower wings in the wings sprue, the third on top of the small parts sprue), three different machines guns, the specific parts for Belgian machines will be included (early exhausts, longer fairing and MG). Hovever, the Belgians got also the "early" landing gear cover in three parts, we should get only the "classic" piece, in one part, in the kit (TBC)
  11. And the plan is to release all of them as soon as possible (beginning of September - still in summer !). Molds are done.
  12. FR0047 boxart (not the last version, the fin flag has been lost, we should get it back), 1000 pixels as requested: FR0048 boxart: And still the pending question : was the letter R under nose of MQoR ? We will probably have it into the decals, anyway!
