Plus it's risky given that Eduard are going to deal with this subject in 1/48...and later probably in 1/72 as well. -

Kind of a joke in this case, although this microscope is actually a very useful tool for figure painting when your eyes reach a certain age

The code is misplaced, rudder cross seems too thin and how did they miss the fuselage cross? https://me109.info/display.php?a=e&fid=1017 https://www.jets-are-for-kids.ch/egalerie/messerschmitt_bf109d/bf109d1_j-307.html (scroll down for 3 photos of the real thing) Wonder if they included some dual language stencils present on this and other Swiss machines (German and French)...and the bulges for the forward fuselage spine (present due to installation of Swiss guns).

This smells using Pilawski as source -
OK, a hole in the head for you, Emils from Dragon in 1/72 instead of 1/48 for me, deal? I'd buy at least 50.

The price was revealed. (source of the image: ARC Forums) -
After the busy summer, Exito Decals brings two news sets dedicated to the recently released 1/48 kits from Airfix and Eduard. The fifth decal set is entitled “Sweet Fourteens” and includes markings for three interesting examples of the Supermarine Spitfire FR Mk.XIVe: - Spitfire FR Mk.XIVe (TZ112), coded DN-Y of No. 416 Sqn RCAF, Uetersen, Germany, December 1945-January 1946. - Spitfire FR Mk.XIVe (TZ198), coded 2I-M of No. 443 Sqn RCAF, Uetersen, Germany, January 1946. - Spitfire FR Mk.XIVe (SM937), coded 62 of No. 151 OTU, Peshawar or Ambala, British India, 1946. None of these marking options have ever been reproduced in decal form in 1/72 or 1/48 scale. DN-Y features sexy nose art which is rarely seen on Spitfires. This set is available directly from the manufacturer: - in 1/48 scale: https://exito.site/en_GB/p/EXITO-DECALS-ED48005-148-Sweet-Fourteens-Supermarine-Spitfire-Mk.-XIVe/51140 - in 1/72 scale: https://exito.site/en_GB/p/EXITO-DECALS-ED72005-172-Sweet-Fourteens-Supermarine-Spitfire-Mk.-XIVe/51136 1/48 sheet: 1/72 sheet: Entitled “The Last in Line vol.1”, the 6th decal set is the first of a series devoted to the German aircraft produced in the last months of World War II. This release covers three Bf 109 G-10s manufactured by WNF, including one machine used in the postwar Yugoslavia: - Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10/U4, W.Nr. 61xxxx, coded ‘Black 5’, flown by Oblt. Fritz Nächster of 5./JG 52, Veszprém, Hungary, early March 1945. - Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10/U4, W.Nr. 61xxx8, coded ‘Yellow 6’ of 6./JG 52, Ainring, Germany, May 1945. - Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10/U4, W.Nr. 611023, coded ‘White 45’ / ‘Black 9645’, flown by kap Franc Rupnik of 83.LAP, Pula, Yugoslavia, late October 1950. ‘Black 5’ have never been reproduced in decal form before, whilst the remaining two aircraft did not receive enough attention from other manufacturers. This set is available directly from the manufacturer: - in 1/48 scale: https://exito.site/en_GB/p/EXITO-DECALS-ED48006-148-The-Last-in-Line-Messerschmitt-Bf-109-G-10-WNF/51138 - in 1/72 scale: https://exito.site/en_GB/p/EXITO-DECALS-ED72006-172-The-Last-in-Line-vol.1-Messerschmitt-Bf-109-G-10-WNF/51137 1/48 sheet: 1/72 sheet: As previously, the decal sheets are printed by industry leader, Cartograf of Italy, which ensures top printing quality and ease of application. These are complemented by instructions that differ from the plain market standard. What you get are essentially high quality posters with accurate and inspiring illustrations. Each subject is presented on an A4-sized sheet, with large side aircraft profiles printed on the front, and the remaining artwork, photos and all necessary information laid out on the rear side. This way you not only get some cool decals for your model kit, but also attractive posters to adorn your man cave, at the same time! Next releases are already in preparation – please follow Exito on FB not to miss the latest news: https://www.facebook.com/Exito-Decals

Surprisingly, this seems to be the first dedicated decal set for the Airfix kit that I'm aware of. Source: https://exito.site/en_GB/p/EXITO-DECALS-ED48005-148-Sweet-Fourteens-Supermarine-Spitfire-Mk.-XIVe/51140

1/48 - Boeing B-17G by HK Models - Release Oct 19
caughtinthemiddle replied to Sidders's topic in The Rumourmonger
Well, I wouldn't be so optimistic about commercial successes of SH, especially since the time they've started to partially use 'long-run' moulds... And listening to customers vs. reading what people (who are just a small percent of the customer base) write on the forums or FB are entirely different things, and there are numerous examples that the latter is a road to nowhere. For example, I still recall those numerous requests for new Mirage F.1 kits on many forums - ask KittyHawk and SH how many they sold... -
