Hobby 2000.

I believe that the reason they're not doing this is that, in contrary to Eduard, they do not produce the photo-etched sheets on their own. I suppose they just order quantities that cover their production runs of Expert kits and by selling them directly or through distributors get the money back sooner or later. An additional investment into surplus PE for the stock may take longer to recover (remember about all those people for whom PE is a no-go), which is a significant factor for a still relatively small company.

A nice Xmas gift arrived yesterday. At first glance, this 2nd volume of 'Bulgarian Fighter Colours 1919-1948', which covers the Bf 109 G, Avia B.135 and Dewoitine D.520, seems to be even more interesting than the first one, with lots of photos that I haven't previously seen either at all or in this quality. The artwork mostly looks convincing as well. Kudos to the author and publisher! A full page-by-page preview by the publisher: And some sample pictures I've made:

If anyone considered installing Master gun barrels, this can be easily done and you don't even have to drill out the guns as in the case of Monogram kit: https://www.kfs-miniatures.com/1-48-boeing-b-17-flying-fortress-machine-gun-barrels-set-master/ -
Yup, but the Ju 86R and Do 17s are German aircraft, the latter even quite well known, which affects on sales. Italian subjects are nice, but do not sell really well. Sword, fore example, does them mainly because the owner is a big fan of Italian aviation (and doesn't like Luftwaffe, on the other hand ).

Thanks. I'm actually thinking about a Dutch one, in a rather poor condition:

Indeed, I found this later when comparing some inboxes and instructions (frankly, there aren't many available in the web). Could you please point out the correct aftermarket items to make out a TF? Post-WW2 aircraft are really not my cup of tea, although there are a few I'd like to build and TF-104G is one of them. Thanks Maciej

Does the F-104J/DJ boxing (which had already been available in the past: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/hasegawa-00873-f-104j-f-104dj-starfighter-jasdf--128501 differ somehow from TF-104G, decals aside? Considering the existence of this boxing: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/hasegawa-02818-tf-104g-f-104dj-starfighter--122043 I'd think it may be the same, but I'd like to be sure before I pre-order it.

You really underestimate the potential absorptivity of the Chinese market, for which this kit is obviously intended.
