Dear forum members; Based on your wishes and feedbacks, we changed and improved the box content of our RF-84F kit, which we released to international market in January 2016. Therefore, new kit no. of our RF-84F is now 2201-1 and its barcode number is renewed. As TANMODEL, we put great importance to your feedbacks about all kits that we release. Content of our decal set is changed and printed by Cartograf. Dutch Decal prepared a multiple-choice decal set once again. As our kit has many clear parts, you asked for mask set in your e-mails. We evaluated your requests and prepared a wonderful mask set. As we are modelers ourselves as well, we added Anti-Glare Patch to the mask set in consideration of beginner modelers. We used a special paper for the mask set. Plus, we added a detailed application sheet printed on double-sided paper. From now on we will not give profile poster and mouse mat. 2201-1 box will include a detailed and high quality mask set. We corrected our minor issue on part no. 18 (Ejection Seat) of F sprue. We re-polished the moulds. Instruction Sheet was very well acclaimed by everyone. We corrected some numbering issues, added color names next to color codes and printed it on glossy paper. Decal Placement Guide is also printed on glossy paper. This way, the good became perfect. We added a download link to our official Facebook page for instruction sheet of previous 2201 kit, for those who haven’t built it yet. Everybody can download. Thanks Duncan and Dann. Dear forum members and our modeler friends; First of all thank you for your kind words and gentle comments. We asked our master modeler friend Mr. Daniel Zamarbide SUAREZ to prepare a presentation containing detailed narration. And he successfully prepared this presentation with a huge effort. We are very happy that you liked it. We thank him once again. As TANMODEL, our priority is mould production using modeling engineering and state of art equipment. Since our RF-84F kit is consisted of 181 parts and contains special camera bay details, we wrote skill level 3 on the box. However our objective was to provide a part breakdown that is suitable for beginner, regular or experienced modelers expectations. Nearly all reviews used “Basic” definition for skill level. This is a very important outcome showing that we reached our objective. We follow all positive-negative criticisms and comments, as much as we can, and we put effort to improve our products. Therefore, our second batch of RF-84F kit will be released with a new and improved box content. Kit number of the new box will be 2201-1. We received the criticism that some parts for NMF pattern have slightly rough surfaces. We re-polished the moulds of all grey parts. We corrected our minor error in seat part. Corrected some numbering mistakes in the Instruction Sheet. Plus, as our decal set, which was successfully drawn by Dutch Decal but printed by TANMODEL, has received criticism, Dutch Decal prepared a new set for 2201-1 and this time we will have a known decal printing company to print decal sets. Our friend Homebee, “The man who knows everything before everyone else” , shared the content of the new decal set under the other TANMODEL RF-84F topic. BRIEF STATEMENT ABOUT BLACKBURN BUCCANEER PROJECT. Dear forum members and our friends; First of all, thank you all for your interest in TANMODEL brand and our projects. Yes, we are planning to release Blackburn Buccaneer S.2 kit and we made some progress in 3D design. However we will release this project in 1/72 scale. About the smear campaign started on Friday by one of our former dealer and continued during the weekend, when our Office was closed: Today is Monday Glen…… Show is over! IMPORTANT STATEMENT BY TANMODEL TO FORUM MEMBERS AND PUBLIC : Herein after, Blackbird Models will be referred as “BM” and its owner Glenn ASHLEY as “GA”. On 09 July 2015, BM applied to us to sell TANMODEL products. This is not a distributorship application! (Picture 1) After a while BM was introduced as a “Wholesaler” both on our official web site and Facebook page. He never raised any objections until this day. (Information of BM will remain online for your confirmation until 06:00 p.m. Turkey time. Then, all information about BM will be removed from our official web site and Facebook page.) - http://tanmodel.com/index_en.html On 18 September 2015, we offered distributorship to BM. (Irrelevant messages are not shown on the picture) (Picture 2) In his reply on 18 September 2015, he did not respond to our proposal either positively or negatively. First sentence of the message is an answer for the information we provided him with regards to manufacturing process of RF-84F. (Picture 3) Despite the fact that we announced the release of our kit on 31 December 2015 through our official web site and this forum, our U.K. (former) dealer has never reacted until today. Even if they failed to increase their sales volume and remained at the same level since 18 September 2015, we did not place any criticism. We maintained our friendly relation with BM and GA, and we always expressed our thanks to him for collaboration, with our messages published in this forum in the past and our e-mails sent to him. To provide more efficient and accessible service to you (modelers residing in U.K.), we made a distributorship agreement with UMP on 07 January 2016 as they possess an extensive distribution network. We notified BM about the good news the next day at 02:30 p.m. Turkey time – at 12:30 p.m. England time. Please carefully read the e-mail we sent BM. (Picture 4) We did not revoke any franchise right of BM and we told our positive opinions about BM to UMP officials and specifically stated that GA is our friend. In addition, we thought in GA’s stead for BM to provide better service to you and offered them various options for the delivery of our kits. NOTE: If UMP requested pre-order customer list from you (BM), it would be sufficient to inform us and wait for our reply. Of course we could have find a solution for this simple issue. But you chose to play the victim with your striking messages. FORUM MEMBERS COMMENTING ABOUT US AFTER 171st MESSAGE : We read your messages with great sadness. If you, too, think that you’ve been deceived and used by BM and GA for reasons with obvious purposes, please write your opinions under this thread openly within the forum rules. However, we would also like you to know that we will strongly object any scandalous and false accusations towards TANMODEL brand. WHAT WILL TANMODEL DO NEXT : TANMODEL is not an unattended brand. We discussed with our attorney this morning. He told us his collaboration with a well-recognized law office based in London with regards to International Mercantile Law and that we can immediately file an action for damages against BM and GA in England courts. Additionally, our lawyer informed us that we may request the IP addresses and message records of BM and GA from forum administration by court decision. BRIEF STATEMENT ABOUT ETHICAL VALUES and COMMERCIAL MORALITY of TANMODEL : TANMODEL and/or its owner (Mr.) Baris TANSOY place great amount of importance on ethical values, commercial morality and customer satisfaction. There are also some instances that can prove these. For example, a few companies contacted us about USA market, however, we informed that we cannot accept their offer as we already have a distributorship agreement. Same situation happened in Belgium; later on our Belgium distributor and applying company came to an agreement between them and former company assigned its distributorship right to the new company. For Italy market, we started with wholesalers as with the BM example (and they started receiving pre-orders), later on, when we agreed with a distributor for Italy, wholesalers told us that they were happy about this development and told us that they will be able to purchase our products from their own country’s distributor without the necessity to pay overseas cargo expenses. ABOUT OUR NEW DISTRIBUTOR UMP (Ultimate Modelling Products) : With UMP Company, we aim for you to access our products with ease and affordable prices in U.K. market. We hope to realize our 1/72 scale Blackburn Buccaneer and 1/48 scale Bristol Blenheim Mk. IV projects in our production queue sooner thanks to our collaboration with UMP. We believe, other brands will not release kits with same scale for quite some time because of the detail level of our model kits and rich box content. Dear forum members, our modeler friends; Our 1/48 scale RF-84F kit has been released in Turkish market as of 29 December 2015 and will be distributed to all our distributor and wholesalers after New Year’s Day. You can purchase them from your local hobby shops within a few weeks. We would like to thank all of our modeler friends who pre-ordered and waited for us patiently. Our RF-84F is presented to you by TANMODEL in a long awaited quality with special part breakdowns, modeler-friendly solutions and other details representing the importance we put on modelers – all designed by Tanmodel’s design team. Our kit, prepared using new generation mould manufacturing methods, has panel lines and rivet details in different sizes. We processed these details onto mould using Dmg Mori Lasertec 65 milling center. For milling precision (especially for fuselage and wings) we utilized equipment of System3R Company. We would like to thank to engineers at the company headquarters in Switzerland for their attention and providing equipment of a special technology which they are preparing to release. Not just mould production; we also used our international relations during 3D design in an effort to present you the best. Dear forum members; Our RF-84F kit with 2201 product code will be released approximately 10 days later. We will start abroad deliveries once the kits are released. We paid great amount of attention to issues such as scale-shape, detail level, practicability, content of decal set as this kit will fill an important gap for collector. Additionally, I must point exultingly, that there will be 2 different gifts inside the box. One of them is the profile poster printed on high quality glossy paper with 34x22 cm dimensions and you can see it below : Other gift of ours is a special one that has never been given by any other brand. For now, only few modeler friends, which we received their opinions, know about this gift. We will share all details of our kit on our official web site and Facebook page soon. Our second gift remains a secret for now. However, we believe you will find it useful and nice. This gift has been on our agenda for a long time. We are trying hard to keep the same kit price worldwide. Our aim is to provide support for local hobby shops and allow you to access our kits easily. We began to collect necessary information prior to design and we will start our F-111 project when the time comes. They advised us to make A and E versions for the first box. TANMODEL is a brand that loves surprises. We have a 1/32 scale Russian aircraft in our agenda. We applied to the manufacturing company about this.
