  2. Hi all, went down to see all of the BBMF at Conninsby today, lovely weather and a awesome day out, im a novice at photography by the way. Enjoy... Thanks for looking
  3. thanks guys, just what i was looking for
  4. Hi all I have recently got a dragon meteor f3 in 1/72 scale and I wanted it with offset rudder and elevators but with the canopy open with no pilot, is this possible because I thought that when the pilot got out and the joystick and rudder pedals were in the neutral position, so was the rudder/elevators/ailerons. i hope this makes scence thanks for looking
  5. my current progress: this is a dry fit and the join between the fuselage and the wings is not good. There must be... 1mm between the two parts. it will need sanding and filling. painted in humbrol acrylic 78 The cockpit is terrible with hardly any detail at all, i put a pilot in to it would liven the place up. thanks for looking
  6. A bit more progress today, primed the cockpit and begun to paint it hu78. Piccys will come tomorrow (if all goes well)
  7. thanks for all the kind comments guys, appreciate it
  8. Hi all This has been my recent project. The airfix spitfire MkIIa in 1/72 scale. The kit is a very nice little kit with a good amount of detail in the cockpit and it all went together with hardly any filler at all. When I came to spraying the propeller, I very clummsily (if thats a word) dropped it and I stepped back to look for it and stepped right on it, so Trevor (maxheadroom) very kindly sent me his spare propellor and spinner, so without him, i probably still wouldnt have a prop on the spitfire now. So a final thanks Trevor. Anyway this is my first RFI so enjoy (again sorry for crap photos, I hope to get a much better camera at xmas, you get the idea) Thanks for looking
  9. Just glued the wings together and begun to paint the pilot.
  10. just built up a bit of the cockpit and there is very minimal detail, no controll panel and the seat is just a block of plastic. I think I will use a pilot from my other airfix spitfire and it might liven the cockpit up a little bit. cheers
