  7. thanks lansen, painted freehand.............made some masks from tape for the wing roundels, which was a lot harder than i thought it would be.

  11. thanks bob, cant remember any problems with the ailerons, used the resin parts supplied with the kit
  12. first post, spitfire mk.vc 312 squadron 1943. finished this before i got a scriber for xmas, could have done with it, lots of filler and sanding. new to this but really enjoyed trying all the techniques ive been reading about for the last few months. might have went a bit ott with weathering, but instructions did say aircraft was well worn. thanks to everyone who has posted their tips and tricks, its much more enjoyable when you know how something can be done instead of banging your head against the wall in frustration. well sometimes anyway....... still made loads of mistakes.
