  1. Love it.I got the same kit from hobbylink about the same time as you did.Wondering if a yellow primer would make the orange look to reddish? plus taking the semi gloss to a matt finish is the way I was thinking of going with this.Either way I love your Dio great stuff. Cheers
  2. Hobbylink Japan has The Revell 1/48 IDS for pre-order coming in December
  3. HL.Japan has an April pre-order for a limited edition.Red and Grey 1/48 Sea King HAR.Mk.5 Arch Royal (Ace of Clubs)
  4. Nice job.The Silk Cut decals are a blue violet colour more inline with the Hasegawa XJR Jag colour not the more purple of the Tamiya XJR's.Pattos Place will get a better colour fit for Tamiyas Silk Cut decals. Cheers Mick
  5. Hi I have the Tam 1/24 Jag XJR-9 LM kit and have the SMS carbon decals and P.E.sets.The kit dosn't have the Silk Cut decals but I bought a set from www.raceland.de they have all the scales from 1/43 1/24 to 1/18 on the same sheet White and Violet. even has Silk Cut king size, great set for just over 5 euro now to my Question. Is the Violet the right colour to match the rest of the decals (purple) in the kit? Cheers Mick
  6. just my 2cents us modellers in Australia have paid more for kits until recently at one stage you could get $3aud to 1£ now the $Aus is high we are getting the benefits in the last month i've paid $71 for the 1/48 hasegawa EA-18G growler and $84 for tamiyas new box 1/48 Lanc and thoes prices include postage to Aus with no tax or gst onany purchase under $1000 but for so long $1 aus bought .63 US and .40 £ so its all relative oh bye the way these kits came from HLJ.Cheers Mick
  7. Nice pictures couldn't help but notice that the No Step footprint markings all had the red X barr the LERX which had the white X?
  8. Just paid $77 Aus for the low vis hasegawa 1/48 EA 18G growler from hobby link and that price includes postage Cheers Mick
  9. Thanks for the reply but i had no luck with the spec's so plan B was a Airfix kit as I had the italeri kit .The prices for one with postage to Australia it was cheaper to buy the Flightpath GR1/1A GR4/4A kit with the raf 1000 cpu 123 lgb and a tiald pod.So my desert storm Tornado is in full plannig Cheers Mick
  10. I don't know if the gr 5 in the blue scheme used for the new pegasus engine tests is relevent
  11. Hope this helps Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us and the proper shape for Hindenburger 2250 litre tank winglets Uploaded with ImageShack.us If the images arn't clear enough Pm me and I will send better copies courtesy of T Snowdon
  12. Hi I was wondering if anyone had the spec's for the 2250 litre hindenburger tanks for the Tornado.I'm thinking of making my own out of balsa. As has been said the Airfix Gr 4 kit is going for top dollar and the resin ones would be heavy. Cheers Mick
  13. I would be interested as well Mick
  14. I just got an activation code from Jacques at L'Arsenal and have placed my order for a couple of sets of his Paveway IV's. I have also got Hasegawa's weapons set E coming from Hobby Search in Japan mainly for the sniper pods and rails. This will give me a chance to compare Hase's sniper pod to Wolfpack's.The major factor was you get 2 in the Hasegawa weapons set E plus rails and munitions for the same price of one of Wolfpacks sniper targeting pods. Cheers Mick
  15. Shaun I have got the set in hand and the tyres do have a lined tread. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Cheers Mick
