  1. Just an old kit I picked up off Ebay. Not sure what it comes from. Its a snap together kit, no glue required, which creates it own problems. The colour scheme is mine.
  2. Great job and fully rigged as well. I stopped after doing the main bits, deciding to quit while i was ahead lol. Roden really need to sort there decals out. The wood effect looks great, gonna try that method myself next time.
  3. Yeah the top wing is the trickiest bit. I put it off before quite a few times finaly getting stuck in. Make sure you have a good supply of swear words ready lol. Hope your going to post some photos when your finished. Love to see that version complete.
  4. My first Biplane and my first go at rigging with stretched sprue. Sill a nubie at modeling since taking it up again after 25 years from when i was a kid. Hand painted in Revell and Humbrol acrylics. Used Micro Sol and Micro Set on the decals (which were not the best, thick and brittle. A common Roden problem it seems). Weathered with Flory Models dark dirt and a little mud brown on the wheels (to cover the poor job i did on them lol) with some highlighting using a silver pencil.
  5. Fantastic job, great attention to detail. Good idea about the silver pencil for highlights on the guns, gonna give that a go myself.
  6. Painted with Revell mat Dust Gray (77) watered down 2 parts paint 1 part water and Revell mat Anthracte (09) for the rubber tyres. Lightly dry brushed on the front with Revell Metallic Steel (91). Tracks washed with Modelmates Rust Red the damp brushed with Humbrol Metallic Gun Metal (53). Weathered with Promodellers Dark weathering wash in varing degrees. Quite pleased how the tracks came out considering they where the dredded black vinyl. With pound coin for scale.
