As someone who is just starting to have a go at modelling after a 30 year+ 'hiatus' (and I'm just talking plastic!) I have to say that my 'gast' is completely 'flabbered'! I've just spent half an hour or so going through this thread and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Your patience, determination and application is a credit to you and, like many others have already said, I will continue to follow this with interest and anticipation of the final outcome - thank you! I got the same kit last week, when I checked the wings, they were grossly warped. I sent Airfix an e-mail of complaint yesterdy morning and a replacement set of wings dropped through the door this morning! The replacement set aren't perfect, but much better than the ones in the kit!
