  1. Holy cow, that is breath taking!!! Brilliant work!
  2. She looks fantastic mate, always nice to see a good, clean Spit!
  3. Absolutely amazing work, it looks so real!! Can't even begin to imagine how to draw something like this up! Beautiful subject as well. Looking at the CAD pics it has really struck me what incredible skills it is to have designed an aircraft like this before the aid of computers, presumably by hand on a drawing board with a ruler and pencil!
  4. Another cracking build on the way! Enjoying watching it again!
  5. great little Sea Harrier, congratulations mate!
  6. Yes indeed it is my day today. Please forward all chocolate and money items to me, as per the law. Thank you.

  7. Inspirational! You've absolutely nailed it! I love the Lancaster as my Grandad was a Lancaster pilot in WW2. I keep putting off making a Lancaster until I feel I've got good enough to do one justice! A great tribute to the fallen men, congratulations again!
  8. Indeed! I guess what I'm trying to say is that to my inexperienced eye, the panel lines look fine, certainly a lot more refined than some other airfix 1/72 kits. This kit looks a little gem
  9. Got this kit today, and for me it looks absolutely excellent. There's loads of detail there, and for me the panel lines look fine. They are over scale, no doubt about that (I'd guess most panel lines would be in 1/72?), and they are heavier than, say, my Italeri Sea Harrier/Gr.3, but they are certainly miles better than the Airfix BF.110 and Shar's that I have. I'm sure if they are a bit heavy for your liking then a couple of coats of primer will help, and if you're brush painting I'd guess the panel lines are ideal. I'm certainly no expert, and I'm definitely not saying anyone's opinion is incorrect, they are probably more valid than mine! Just saying it looks an absolutely great kit and well worth the cost, so I wouldn't worry about the panel lines. The only thing with mine is there is a really nasty ejector pin mark inside the cockpit which will be a pain to get out, but if that's the only problem, I'll be very happy! I'll do a build thread when I get round to building it (and you all will be able to see the panel lines are the least of my problems ). V
  10. it has been great to watch! You've also built a whole Lancaster masterfully in about the same amount of time it takes me to unblock and setup my airbrush!
  11. Hmmmm.... I'm guessing its too late to look tough and manly in front of the builders after they've seen my collection of model planes and Verity Chester's love hearts around the house...

  12. Massive result. Well done England!!

  13. Just watched Take Me Out with David Willey - legendary!!

  14. Following this build-it's already a masterpiece!
  15. This thread keeps getting better and better! Great work so far!
  16. Thank you all for your very kind birthday messages! I apologies to those of you I've not replied to yet, but because of the way the Facebook app (doesn't) work, I can't actually fully see everyone who's written to me! I will when I'm back in England on a computer! Much love x

  17. Sure I've seen this somewhere before... looks amazing, great job!
  18. Thanks guys! The model is all together and ready for priming. When I've to some paint down I'll get some more pics up. Thanks for the encouragement
