great build on a challenging kit, nice work!

Hi all, Thought I'd share this model with you, I've been working on her for a while and making her side by side with the 1/48 Mustang, mainly to practice some techniques on. The kit itself isn't bad. I think it's pretty well documented that the panel lines are deeper than most canals, and apparently it's not overly accurate. I can't comment too much on accuracy, but I can confirm the kit is fairly straight forward to build with generally good fit, but also a lot of fiddly bits with massive gates, this is causing a few headaches. I am planning to use the hairspray technique to do the winter camo, but there is a reasonable chance I'll wimp out before getting to this point Anyway, she's glued together, primed, pre-shaded with Tamiya flat black, and has the underside colour on (Vallejo RLM 65). Cool! The kit is a dream, it falls together, the only areas I've had problems with are purely as a result of my own lack of ability!! I've been busy have stuff done to the house lately so not done anything to it for a couple of months, but hoping I'll get some primer on her this weekend/next week. I'm also doing a degree in my spare time, so that cuts into modelling time unfortunately...
