  1. I've just got this kit and it look absolutely brilliant. In fact I got the Profi pack and the overtrees version as well. You can have a look at the instructions online and it shows you what the kit comes with. http://www.eduard.com/store/Eduard/Spitfire-Mk-IXc-late-version-1-48.html?cur=1 if you follow that link, it will take you to the profipack page. On the right hand side there is a link to the instructions in pdf form. As far as I know, only the profipack and overtrees versions are available. I'm far far far from being an expert, but believe the profipack versions usually contains photo etched parts, masks and extra decal options over their weekend versions. The only thing I would say is after a quick look through the kits, there are a few things included on photo etched in the cockpit which don't have plastic versions. The armor plate behind the seat is the obvious one that springs to mind. I was going to make those bits out of plasticard using the photo etch as a template. Whether they'll bring out a weekend version, and then include plastic bits for these few items, no idea! Hope that's a bit helpful! Val
  2. great model, and brilliant history attached to it!
  3. You're in a room with Joey Barton and Piers Morgan. You've got a gun, but only one bullet. Question is, which one do you shoot? And which one do you smash to death with a chair?

  4. Cracking build, lovely weathering, and I love the scratch built FOD cover
  5. What a lovely collection of colourfull aircraft!
  6. Cool, I think I'll give it a bash on my 110 when I get there! Great models!
  7. Thanks yes me too, I've got the white and sky bands painted, so need to mask them up, and with a bit of luck I'll have the underside painted sometime this week.
  8. Looks brilliant!! And also shows you don't have to put every stencil on under the sun to come out with a life-like model. Top work!
  9. couple of crackers there! Did you do the winter camo with the hairspray technique? Looks great! I'm thinking of doing my BF110 with winter camo, but I'm a bit nervous about it!!
  10. Hiya, can I join please? Probably with the new Airfix kit. Not sure ill be threatening the leader board but will be fun to get involved with everyone! Cheers Val
  11. Hi all, thanks for the kind words. I've listen to words of advice and I decided to knock it back a bit with the ol' shading, and I've painted in the yellow bands also. Here's a picture: Please let me know what you think! Cheers, V
  12. I've got this kit as well, so will be watching this with interest!
  13. Looks great to me, love the chipping, I know you were worried about them being over scale in the WIP, but looks perfect with all the decals etc on. Congrats
  14. maybe slow, but worth waiting for!! Those seats are brilliant!
  15. Thanks for your kind words guys! Yes, I'm inclined to agree with you it might be a little over the top. What I'm going to do is leave it over night, and look at it again today when it's totally dried off and see what the paint work looks like in day light, and then probably give it a bit more of a heavily thinned going over with the RLM 65! The most shaded areas on the wing tips are going to be yellow, so will be knocked down a lot - wasn't going to paint them in blue but, well, forgot! Cheers, Val
