  1. Quite the opposite actually! And I'm already looking for other forums where I can post the odd pic and it be viewed by like minded people. Thanks for having me.
  2. My problem is that I just want to post a couple of pics showing off my latest completed model. I don't really want it 'inspected' and certainly not by people who have little interest in civil airliners.
  3. That's exactly what it is.! What about the 777? I've got that one in the line and will be a bit more careful with it going on my experience with the 75
  4. I have zero interest in military/classic aircraft (well not enough to model at the moment anyway) The thing is with the Ready for inspection and work in progress forums is that there are very few civil airliners there. I've just gone through the first 6 pages of the RFI forum and only found a few civil light aircraft topics. Now all I want to do is show a couple of pics of my last 757 build and my A346 in progress. I don't think they are worthy of the RFI or WIP forum and will get swallowed up by the massive amount of military/ classic stuff. I want the members in this forum to see them. It;'s the only one I visit after all.
  5. Blimey, this thread been revived has it. Well I tend to use 10mm nuts now.
  6. Thanks everyone, I'll check out the options given.
  7. I'm after the model and decals. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Adria-Airways/McDonnell-Douglas-MD-82/1259822/L/&sid=a7cb6dba98ed1902344449f7be337dd8 Is this doable? Thanks
  8. Just to let you guys know, Ivo sent me a replacement and it arrived on Monday.
  9. A can of compressed air works quite well. As I unintentionally found out
  10. Where as I found that to be the best model to build so far! And everytime I hear talk of Revell A320 winglets being too small I have to look at my Jetstar model and wonder how much bigger they should be!
  11. Thanks, Just had an email from him myself saying he will send part tomorrow.
  12. I've got the Revell centre strut but thought that the the A346 one was different. Jessica, I take it this Ivo guy is from Braz? Edit- The struts may be the same but the Braz conversion piece has the 4 wheeled bogie incorporated. I've just sent them an email so hopefully they will help me out. Where abouts in the world are Braz located?
  13. I've just decided to continue with my A340-600 conversion which I started earlier in the year and just noticed that I am missing the centre wheel strut! I've either lost it or it was never there to start with but I'm going to need a replacement regardless. Has anyone got any experience with getting replacement parts from Braz?
  14. I hope you're right mate. I've got the 777 on standby but that will be after my 346 Braz conversion which I also started last year
  15. Being a novice myself and only interested in airliners, my experience so far is that I've built 4 Revell aircraft in this order. 737 A380 A320 and the 1:72 Piper Cub which my sister bought me for my Birthday. They all went pretty well with nice clear instructions and a well fitting parts. In between the A380 and the Piper Cub, whilst waiting for paint/decals etc to be delivered for the others, I started the Minicraft 757 and boy was that an eye opener to model making! Poor instructions, twisted fuselage, bad fitting wings the list goes on. I don't know if I've got a bad one or whether this is the norm but it's made me give up for the time being. I know for certain it will be my 'crap model' as an when I finish it. Revell all the way as far as I'm concerned.
