  1. Try here: http://www.radubstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=127_129_166&products_id=698
  2. I was looking forward to this one, but on the basis of those pictures I'll definitely be waiting for a reliable review before parting with my money. It looks like the sort of thing Monogram had in its catalogues in the 1970s.....
  3. Couldn't agree more, can't remember the last really new 1/48 jet that they did.....
  4. Far too late to the party, I'd have thought. I really struggle to understand their business model - sell your design/mould/whatever to another manufacturer and then release an 'upgraded' version yourself?
  5. If you follow the link to the Airfix website, it says it's for release in October, not September?
  6. Would have much preferred a PR. XVI.....I can only live in hope!
  7. Based on previous experience, I'd expect that the pods, etc., will be available as extras from Maestro.....for a price, of course!
  8. I think Eduard/Brassin are having a go at this too, be interesting to see whose is best (and more importantly whose fits best?).....the cockpit of the Tamiya kit always seemed to me to be its weak point, looked a bit basic.
  9. OK, guess I have to concede that.....but there isn't much in it!
  10. Great.....at last Freedom Models is making a kit of (a) something that actually entered service/existed and (b) something I'd actually buy a couple of!
  11. No thanks, ugliest plane that ever flew, regardless of kit manufacturer/scale!
  12. Just wondering, how well did the Italeri AEW parts fit the Tamiya kit?
  13. That's a beautiful job, really looks great. Can I ask, is that the kit cockpit or an after-market one?
  14. The bank manager is going to be VERY unhappy! Flexibility of the credit card will be tested to its absolute limits, methinks.....
  15. All very educational, many thanks, these exchanges are a perfect example of how a website like Britmodeller can - and should - be used to help people get the best out of a new kit!
  16. I agree that both box-tops are mediocre at best, my own view would be that you can't beat a good painting of the kit subject. However, that being said, I really don't much care what it comes in as long as the kit is accurate, well-detailed and goes together easily! Delighted to have (what I hope will be) a good kit of this subject instead of yet more Spitfires, 109s or 190s.....
  17. Interesting, but I think at a total of £899 by the time I'd have collected all 100 issues that I'll pass! You could buy a LOT of kits for that kind of money?
  18. Don't know if this helps, but this set includes a bare metal Canadian example: https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/MKD48008
  19. OK, I can't disagree with that; however, something that's half as ugly as an F-32 is still REALLY ugly!
  20. It's not a model at all, he owns a real one and is pretending it's a model!!??
  21. First kit from this manufacturer I'd actually be interested in buying!
  22. Thanks for the info., much appreciated! (Even if it means that I now have to go out and buy something else!!??)
  23. Just curious - can I ask if the cockpit/seats, the flaps and the wheel wells are the CMK ones? If so, do you think they're worth getting/adding?
