  1. Nice model batcode, can I ask you whether you have any information about this mbt as I am in the process of restoring an original one.
  2. Hi all Does anybody have or know any details, beyond what you can Google, about the Chinese built, Iraqi Type 69 MBT? I am a volunteer at a museum here in Essex and we are restoring said tank but it's impossible to find out anything about it. Any information would be gratefully received.

  15. Hi all, now where was I... The chassis is all but complete just got to add the external stores etc. The rails and the motor at the rear of the chassis was a bit of a pain to work on as both rails were warped but after some swearing and gentle talking too fitted on ok. The quality of this kit is great, even the jack comes in 6 pieces and if like me you are a fan of the pzIV there seems to be a lot of spares for later projects including a drivers 'cab'. More to come soon... Nick
  16. Hi Last month I was given a Etch-Mate 3c as a birthday present and it does exactly what it is suppose to do, I have been able to bend PE into what its supposed to look like. My only con was that I thought it was made of metal rather than resin. Nick

  19. Hi all My hand now finally recovered from its unscheduled attack from my scalpal I thought I would share my next venture with you, part of my collection of 'different' vehicles. Another fine kit from Dragon. Regards
  20. Thanks for the reply, I've tried to get into planes but always go back to armor. Drove Chieftain and Challenger 1's in British Army and got sort of hooked. If you ever need some reference I have pretty much every Osprey and Squadron Signal book, Waffen-Arsenal the list is endless and they are all .pdf files. Nick
  21. Hi all, I am posting these example images who are drawn by a good friend and are possible available to buy, so I am seeing whether or not people would be interested in this sort of art / reference. They are high quality images and would be printed on glossy A4 photographic paper. The examples shown are: UK Fuze No. 223 Mk2 http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa401/...82mmHEAT-FS.jpg 82mm HEAT-FS http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa401/.../MTSQM501A1.jpg If you are interested email me and I will see what can be done. Nick
  22. Hi all I have been away from this build for a couple of weeks due to a very silly thing I did. I tried to catch a scapel which I had dropped, needless to say the desk stopped the falling scapel but not my hand which continued to move down and only stopped when the blade was well and truely up to the handle in my palm...very bloody, very painful and stitched successfully the second time, with a local anaesthetic. Cant think why the doctor in A&E wanted to try without it to start with....
