Just a wee update on the dio I have started to build some floors for one of the houses using the coffee stirrers, these were cut to measurements and glued onto a card base, I will be building one or two more floor sections for the two houses I have also started work on the Trumpeter pak43, nice kit to build so far, some fiddly bits, that my non co-operating fingers are finding hard to deal with, so this could take a little while more to build anyway, here is one or two pics, hope you like them, will get more pics on later as the build moves along a little further Sorry for the poor quality pics, these were done using my mobile.

Hi Vp I`ve got a couple of pak 40`s somewhere in the stash, but that pak 43 keeps drawing me in so much that I`ve just started it

Just a small update on the dio, I`m undecided which pak gun to use for the dio, I have several different kits in mind and so far the 3 main contenders are these....but that may change over night ,

Fantastic build and finish Kayell, would like to see more of the limber and 122 howitzer as well, the finish on the tractor is amazing, top build

Just a small update on the slabbing, I have set the cork slabbing for the pavement around the park entrance this was done using pieces of cork cut to size and filed edges using an emery board these were then glued into place and then a plaster mix was smoothed in between them to create a cement finish and to add texture to the cork...hope you like them

Up date on the slabbing, I started the park area as this is the smallest area to be done, I wanted to see what the cork slabbing would look like, so this area got started first, as you can see the slabbing is done from cork, this is then filed around the edges and distressed to give them a worn look, plaster watered down will then be spread using a small brush to give the slabs a texture...hope it works out

Finally finished the cobbles(1000`s of the little bu**ers) and am I glad that bit is finished now to start the pavements, and I can say that I`m really looking forward to that bit also Anyway here are some piccies of the finished cobbled area, hope you like them

Another little update on the dio (cant stop now ) as you can see from the pics, I dug up a section to make it look less boring I`m thinking of adding under ground drainage, I wanted to make that area look as if a shell had exploded leaving a crater exposing the drainage, well thats the idea anyway
