  5. I`d go for the Dragon version, I to have the Revell version of the Dragon kit and it`s great to build, I enjoyed it that much I went out and got myself another one, great kit to build. Tom
  6. Hi Panzer Vor Have you thought about using different type of vehicles to go on the back of the trailer such as a recovery truck(field workshop) an armoured car, half track or even an allied aircraft. The possibilities are endless, myself I would go for something entirely different from the norm, an allied aircraft shot down behind enemy lines already loaded up for examination would look different! If you do wish to put another vehicle on the back of the trailer how about an old beat up truck or armoured recon vehicle or an enemy tank, or simply load it up with a few kublewagon`s or staff cars with some freight, what ever you decide to build, I hope you are going to blog it. Tom

  14. To be honest it wont be a kit i will be buying, Tamiya for me are greedy in the prices that they are asking for their model kits, sure i realize that there are people that will buy there kits regardless of price, but for myself i think they are asking far to much for the kits that they manufacture! Personally i think that Tamiya have been over taken in the market by the likes of Dragon and Bronco etc for price and selection of new kits etc, so for myself personally, i think i would rather buy Dragons versions of the Elephant/Ferdinand rather than the new Tamiya version. This is due to price as i have already stated and the fact that you get more in the Dragon kits and Bronco kits than you do Tamiya kits(spares box will agree with that) but surely Tamiya must realise that there asking prices for new kits are not reasonable, so its a no for the new Tamiya Elephant from myself. RPM kits

Hi Sean i have several RPM kits in my stash including the Marder 1, i also have the Lorraine artillery tractor and the Stuks zu fuss and finally i have 2 15cm sdf h 13/1 kits, the only way i can describe these kits is that they need a little work and patience when building them. Also i would say that if you have built any Russian kits such as Ark/Alan or Maquette etc, then these are very similar, the instructions need a little patience, you will also find a few pieces that will not line up properly, but if you can get past these, then the Marder 1 will be an excellent kit to build. Not bad kits in my opinion, but just remember........ that they need a little more patience in building as say the more up market kits such as Dragon, Tamiya etc Hope this helps. Tom
