Hello everyone This is a bit of a what if question really! I have an old Airfix 1:72 westland whirlwind! and as one who likes to be different! and with a passion for everything RFAA I was toying around with the idea of building it as a carrier bourn aircraft! but alas after sometime going through a lot of reference material on the net! I could not find any information as to if this aircraft was ever used for carrier bourn operations or if it was ever considered for such a role! if anyone knows different! I`d love to know! the subject fascinates me! in the mean time I think I`ll just get on and build it! as the thought of what it would have looked like is making me Drool thanks in advance for any feed back on this topic cheers.
