Academy 1/35 Jagdpanzer 38t Hetzer (early)
gmoss replied to Phas3e's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
Very well done! Looks great. -
Here is my recently completed Tamiya Stug III G, which I have depicted with a well-worn whitewash. Unfortunately, I was a little too far advanced with it to join the current group build. It was painted with acrylics and weathered with oils and pigments. I used the kit rubber band tracks, which I think turned out ok. I used little bits of sponge to push the tracks down to create sag, then super glued them in place before removing the sponge pieces. I also lost the fire extinguisher and will try to make one soon. Thanks for looking, Greg

Here is my recently completed Tamiya 1/35 Cromwell. It was painted with acrylics and weathered with oils and pigments. Chain, mg, and stowage were from spares box. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Greg With shelf mate...

Amazing - if mine turns out half that good, I'll be well pleased! -

That looks great Stix! -
Here’s my recently completed M4A3E8. It’s the Italeri 1/35, built OOB with the exception of logs (Value Gear) and tarp (lead foil). Except for the mud, I otherwise kept the weathering light on this one. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Greg With shelf mate

Hi everyone I usually build armour models but I was given this one as a gift. It was a fun build - painted with acrylics and weathered with oils and pastels. Thanks For looking. Cheers, Greg

Hi everyone This is Tamiya's 1/35 Panther G Late that I built for the Panther Mk.V STGB group build. It was built OOB with the exception of the barrel (Aber) and grills. I used sea foam for the branches. The kit went together ok - the tracks weren't that great, but I think they turned out ok. Thanks for looking and Happy New Year Cheers, Greg With shelf mate...

That turned out awesome Stix! The subtle weathering looks great - very convincing. -
Thanks Stix OK, thanks mate. Hoping to finish by early next week.

Great work - especially with the micro scale!

Looking really good Darryl. I'm yet to venture into figure painting, but I'd be pretty happy if I could achieve results like yours.

Looking really good mate

Well, I've progressed along quite quickly since yesterday with further weathering and aerial construction. I'm planning to start work on the tracks today. I also decided to try my hand at making tree branches to use as camouflage using sea foam. I'll post some photos once I've experimented and I'm reasonably happy with it.

After looking at some Panther reference photos, I decided to do the dots with a brush, so they aren't perfect circles. I'm not 100% happy with it, but further weathering should tone them down a bit. I'm also looking to place a few 'tree branches' on it this weekend. Cheers, Greg
