Yup i'm tentatively in for this one. The reason I say tentatively, is that early part of next year, it is highly probable that I will be backwards and forwards to That London. I have two 1/32 Revell offerings, Both (if I manage it ) will be in VF 143 Pukin Dogs, early livery One for me, one for a good friend of mine. One will hopefully have a few Enchiladas!

Ok so now iv'e ordered the Aires cockpit and tailpipes for mt stash resident, having been debating for quite some time. Its all your fault! Iv'e got to keep this hidden from my beloved! Beautiful work. I'm looking forward to the finished article as, ironically iv'e got the 11 sqdn marks as well.

Oh good grief! where will it all end? I thought my efforts with one of Mr Parkins kits was reasonable but this is phenominal. Full leaded engineering in miniature. Congratulations on your excellent work and I look forward to the finished product.

Great work on your build. Iv'e recently completed one of these and enjoyed it with the exception of the fit in a few places. Fit was poor around the tail the fuselage halves and the cockpit area. Caused me a good few issues. Like yours the moulding appeared warped along its full length but this is obviously covered by the separate spine, so it all works out ok in the end. I built mine as a gift for the staff of 29 Sqdn whom I visited recently as a thank you for their hospitality. I have a second Typhoon to build at a later date which will be as an 11 sqdn FGR 4 with all the bells and whistles. Before you progress too far, one improvement I can highly recommend, if you fancy trying your hand at resin at this early stage, is a set of Aires jet pipes. They are far superior to the kit representations in terms of detail level. Also as Steve has suggested, have a crack at opening out the vents on the top of the air intake, it, IMHO transforms the look of the model markedly, although its not quite accurate as on the real thing the vents exit into the (i think) the electronics bay, not the air intake as represented on the kit. Ace building so far ,keep up the excellent work

Strange thing is, The Smithsonian museum at Dullas also has an F35 on display. At least its one of the original flying prototypes but for my money there are loads of other aircraft of a higher Educational or interest status than the F35

Well done that man another F3! good choice of markings too. although for paintwor, IMHO nothing could top the job you did on the Firebird! BTW Sparrows are just about the same dimensions as Firestreaks, or will she be unarmed?

Now that would have been an experience, I bet that made you feel literally on top of the world. I know I would have. We were exited at the prospect of all three BBMF coming out to play, but this was something different, especially as we could listen to the Hawk camera ship calling the aircraft into different poses.. Would love to see the pictures.... On a side note we were watching the Hurricane playing about in the morning, the pilot looked a little nervous in his flying... Turns out he has recently moved up from the Chipmunks and the boss man was watching his performance from Coningsby tower. Each landing was met with a critique on the landing, take off and general handling. To add insult to injury there were winds straight down the runway 18 gusting 30! I bet he was sh.....ing himself being placed into one of the most precious aircraft on the circuit. For all this he did brilliantly nailing a perfect three pointer most times.

Having confirmed we were to be guests of "9 ® Squadron for the day on 7th September, I had approximately 17 days to put together our token of appreciation for their hospitality. The Revell 1/32 Eurofighter Typhoon, Built with the addition of Aires Burner cans and Two bobs excellent decals. Paintwork courtesy of a Halfords Polar grey rattle can and an F18 pilot from the Academy kit. A Cow to put together in places but here she is as presented to 29 Sqdn. 1. 2. I simply didnt have time to a "proper" detailing job suffice to say she is virtually out the box. 3.

Coningsby 8.9.11, crash gate 1 A day of many Typhoon movements to keep us occupied. Earlier in the day we were treated to the BBMF Hurricane gently performing rolls, turns and loops save not in a "display " format, followed by a couple of practice landings in difficult windy conditions. Lunchtime and the callsign "battle" popped up on the scanner. Ah BBMF coming out to play, then we were treated to this. Withthe exception of a couple, as the images have rolled off the camera. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Off they went joined by a Hawk for some Air to air photography. A 41 sqdn marked Spit and the Anniversary Tornado. 6. Forming up nicely 7. return 8. Now this would for me have been shot of the day BUT just as I was firing the shutter, the AF for some reason "moved" anyhow Iv'e included it for what "could have been" 9. Hope you like.

Having just completed the paintwork on my 1/32 Typhoon, For rapid coverage of this large airframe, Halfords Ford Polar Grey is the perfect match for Barley, Camo grey (Humbrol 167). It goes on evenly, dries quickly and gives a great gloss finish ready for decals. This can obviously be toned down later if required. Ill pop a couple of phots up shortly.
