Prolly one here for Spike, but does anyone know wether GR4A's (as opposed to the standard GR4's) have ever carried the Tiald Pod furthermore wether they carried them during Telic? Iv'e a feeling that as the A's are the reconnisance version there is no need / they never ran a task which required it being carried. I cant find any references to them being hauled round by the A versions. Anyone know different?

That is simply gorgeous! very very nice work, and I concurr, the elastics for the intake bung are the definitive final touch! I cant do that even in 1/32! -

Trumpeter Lightning price are they having a laugh ?
Phartycr0c replied to keith in the uk's topic in Aircraft Cold War
Im afraid I have to sit fairly and squarely in the "subject matter" camp. I buy 1/32 kits dependant on the aircraft involved. By way of example, my stash is a trump Flanker Tamiya F15 2x Tornado's F117 (for gawds sake) and a legacy Hornet. To be joined by 1x Eurofighter a Trumpy F14 and most possibly a Lightining. Breaking with the genre, I even fancy a bash at the Swordfish! My built includes an A7 A10 1/35 Chinook legacy hornet etc. anyhow, the point I am trying to make is that I (think) have fewer expensive kits which appeal, so the Lighning and Eurofighter fall right in there £95 quid is a bit on the high side, so with all the others to do, I can wait for the price to fall. -

Firstly welcome across to the "dark side" Graham. you'll love it here!. Secondly, that is one unusual aircraft, so what exactly is its intended role? The islanders most certainly have a slow speed capability for long loiter times, Has the King Air? Cant see it as a direct replacement.

Hi all. a couple of the bang seats for my 1/32 beastie mainly to prove Im actually doing something!. These are the Flightpath seats made up of white metal and PE and to be honest they were a complete nightmare. My Photography isnt exactly brilliant and doesnt really show these off to to their best, but the work was worth the end result! One thing the photos have done is highlighted the flaws in my painting

That is one outstanding build! Mine's a 1/32 and the level of detail youve crammed into that 1/72 cockpit really does put me to shame! Likewise that paintwork is superb. BTW it isnt just you who enjoys the "peeling thing". I recently removed some masking tape from the canopy of a 1/32 Tomcat having been tempted to remove it several times, for a peek. the pressure was intense but the satisfaction in the end was sooooooo........! Likewise my wife has the habit of keeping screen protectors on her phones. Its a battle to get em removed (screen protectors that is) but I win in the end. Really need to get out more!

Good work Mike ta. You just really didnt want to see the photos did you? I saw the build from Lyle but never found the second part of the build thread!

Right besides the "obvious" answers, can anyone tell me wht there are no completed builds of the Revell, Testors, Italeri !/32 F 117. If no one points me in the right direction, I swear I will build it AND post photos!
