Thats wonderful sir. Welcome to Britmodeller and there's nothing wrong with your English. -
I was wondering the same thing?

It's Here, ARC, evilbay etc etc for the big stuff. Annoyance was that last year Modelzone got rid of a load of the tigermeet Toprnado's at 19.99. Guess what, didnt buy any! DONT go for the really early Revell release as its not as detailed as the later stuff Unless of course you like panel scribing. Regards Pharty

1/32 Revell/Flightpath Tornado GR.4
Phartycr0c replied to Alan P's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
Think the shiny silvery thingies are APU outlets. some Tornado's have great big square areas on their flanks just in front of the elevators and some dont. Im assuming that this is some sort of conversion and the original APU,s are the ones in front of the nozzels. Of Course i could be completely wrong! Those decals are outstanding. Where they much of a B@@l ache to do? Iv'e never gone down the road of home made decals! . Nice work keep it up!- 165 replies

So here they are, a very dirty Daphne and Scooby! Having decalled up the aircraft I suddenly realised that they were far too bright for a work worn aircraft so I lightly went over each decal in an attempt to reproduce fading and the ARTF finish peeling off. I think its come out ok. A Final heavy wash with some very thinned down enamel paint et Voilla now its over to you lot for the judgement!
-
Your too kind Al but I fear in time yours would have kicked mine round the room! I really rushed the last stages but I dont think I missed anything! Look forward to seeing yours done so get a move on!
-
Well folks, I crossed the finish line at 01.00 this morning, (all bar a last coat of matt varnish that is) and due to problems with my internet connection its not till now Ive been able to post the (rather mediocre) photos! So here they are, a very dirty Daphne and Scooby! Enjoy!
