  1. Well, I'm in for one. Had bought a plan to correct the upper wing clusterf*#k myself but very happy to support Rieth Creations work. cheers Mark
  2. Great looking Fencer mate. Regarding the decals. It is possible only certain decal softeners will work with Begemot. Might be worth asking them if they recommend a brand of softener for future reference. FSM did a useful article about twenty years ago on which decal solution works with kit box decals and aftermarket decal ranges. I might suggest to them they update it!
  3. Jeez. Well, I guess the Trumpy 100C has all the 'other' issues too in both scales. Glad I didn't jump in and get a 1/48 C. It seems Trumpys B Team make more kits than their A Team. I remember when ESCI first released their 1/72 F100's. Could not believe how good it was back then. Obviously, it hasn't been knocked off its perch.
  4. Yes. But look at the shape of that wing root profile. Looks like the KH kit doesn't it? Could they have been silly enough to use this as a reference?
  5. I'm an idiot! I ordered one before doing a proper search for reviews. That's two pos from KH i bought.
  6. Would not bother. Stick with the Roden kit.
  7. Bugger. Did not look close enough to see if it was already posted.
  8. KittyHawk are requesting feedback on the accuracy of their 3D renders of this forthcoming kit. If you are not on Facebook here are the pics they posted. It has already been suggested they drop the complete engine as it would make the kit more complicated than it needs to be and it is more important to concentrate on getting the accuracy and engineering of construction right. We need one of our Russian specialists on this one. https://www.facebook.com/Kitty-hawk-736521713066784/
  9. I do miss them. All we have to look at now are F-18's
  10. Back in the early 80's the Australian Importer for Lesney/Matchbox ran regional competitions in New South Wales (and I think in other States). I placed at my local model shop and the Puma was first prize (being the newish release at the time). Never did get around to building it, but it looked like one of their nicer kits.
  11. Heya mate Odd & Ordance have a forthcoming correction set for the Airfix kit OAO48002 http://www.oddsandordnance.co.uk/index.asp?pageid=161038
  12. Cheers Julien Well, it appears that if you want a Korean War Sabre go with the Academy kit as the Hasegawa is better for later Sabres. Plus some removal of vents is required on the Hasegawa fuselage as they did not change it from a -40 type for later non Japanese aircraft boxings.
  13. Is the Hasegawa kit better compared to Academy?
  14. Apparently Hobbycraft pantographed up the Fujimi kit, which means (if true) the Fujimi Cutlass is wrong too. Even as cheap bottom as Hobbycraft are you would think a little research wouldn't go astray before putting thousands of dollars on the line machining dodgy casting dies !
  15. seen this WiP build SA? http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/lofiver...php/t54705.html
  16. Howdy New about Collect-aire but they are gonzo. OK, just found DMold website, it appears the cutlass is long gone (if it was released at all back in 2008). I can't find anyone who has reviewed it. cheers
  17. G,day Save your money, its the same. Actually, the whole darn forward fuselage is wrong too. In lieu of anything better though we are stuck with it. I wish Hobby Boss would do one. While they are at it a Banshee, Cougar and Tiger too.
  18. Good tips regarding archive products, why didn't I think of that!
