  1. Very nice detailing, looking good
  2. I can't, the engine is in the way of the details Looking good, very nice detailing.
  3. Very nice, do you plan to let it open?
  4. Finally arrived at page 27. This is just STUNNING!!! The level of detail is amazing, I keep thinking about when you would make the first testflight....
  5. That looks very good, I'll be looking on you're build for inspiration for mine. Your solution with the pipe on the intake is great, I'll try to do the same on my twin seater. How are the lines on the flaps from your wings? On mine the bottem flaps does not match the top flaps when testfit.
  6. That's a nice Typhoon you've made there. To correct my own typing, i did it completely from the back also, that is where I first viled it, and then with sandpaper the last part. You're comment on the stalagtites is duly noted, thanks! I'll remember that one, and try it, see how it comes out, otherwise I might do something with evergreen. An Eduard set will not be ordered for this one, so, also not for the grille. This is for the main part a learning model in everyway possible, but thanks for the comment anyway.
  7. Hi all, My first tread and post here, so, hello everyone This build wil be my first one for many years, I've build some OOB models about 20 years ago, and started again after a collegue who builds modelships got me motivated again. And I would like to build later on some TSR2's, I have 2 already in the box, but before I start building on them I would like to learn to do more than OOB and adapt models and also scrash building. So first I desided to build the Twin-Seater Typhoon from Revell as I found it in de store, and liked it, it had lots of area's to work/learn on for other builds. This is the model I've gathered a lot of reference data on the web about this plane, and the first thing that I noticed to work on was this part. Standard this is closed, and thought about opening them, so i've bend a file to gut it open from the inside, the right side came first, the left side came second. On the right side I kept on using the file until I was through, and then used sandpaper, but as you can see it is a little damaged now, so the left side I used the file to just before i was through and then used sandpaper. the result is better, althow not yet done, but it is still whole. I'll try to correct the rightside again later. Help is appreciated. The next part to cut was this part, and I'll go on with that part when I will close it up, then I'll be able to make the rest for it in there. The internal inlet and undergear bay part, glued and with putty, next on is the sandpaper. The undergear bay will also get some extra detailing with wires and tubing and the likes, should be a nice learning part I'll be making this model with one additional fueltank on the centerlane. glued and with putty on it, still in need of sandpaper. I'm still not sure to do the model with GBU-24's or do a future typhoon as the Storm Shadow will not be operational under the Typhoon until 2014. Here it is held together (not glued, not done yet) and i've opened the inlet for the little turbojet, but i'm not done with the inlet for now, it still needs some work.
