Looking great!
Airfix have obviously come a long way since we had to glue the guns through a giant ring that was the gunners hands!

Looking good!
An interesting view into the thought processes of the time too. Presumably this was just to prove that it was feasible, and was not intended to be fitted in service as I can't see that losing the use of one turret was a price worth paying to launch a limited use aircraft!

Lovely to see this back, and as others have said, well worth the wait.
Those parts all look exquisite, but the torpedo racks are so crisp and finely detailed it really made me realise just how much can be done with 3d printing.
I may have missed it, but what resin are you using for the main parts? I have been using Siraya tech ABS like and am having issues with blurred detail in the areas between the supports. Siraya tech themselves simply said "your settings appear OK, hope that helps"!

a limited amount of detail to the deckheads.
The WHAT?
Oh, sorry. I misread it.
I think I have a problem.
For some perverse reason, I always look forward to seeing Martian's white bits!
They do look good, and I'm sure the shareholders of Evergreen are rubbing their hands with glee!

Don't worry, I've sacked my scriptwriter. I've got a nice sounding chap from Belgium to interview tomorrow....
I'll lay odds he's drunk!

Skegness has been washed out to sea. (not a bad thing really).
Not enough bracing?

That's what I understood. But being the only one used for camouflage trials doesn't necessarily mean it was the only one to be camouflaged. Just that the others weren't used for trials.

The only one used for trials, or the only one that was camouflaged? Could it be possible that other ships were camouflaged after the trials?

Alas, we can no longer import fresh meat products to here, so we ex-pats have to savour such things vicariously and rely on memories of past delights.
There are a number of excellent British butchers in Mass. who make British sausages, pies, etc. and will ship. Worth a Google!

Did we expect any less?
I fully expect to see not only the bunks, but the occupants of same.
And the khazi, sans occupants preferably!

I like the look of those decals, and I think your repositioning of the lights is a great improvement.
The tyre looks very square though, or is that just the camera?

That's a wonderful little model. Top marks for all the improvements!

Lovely work, well worth the extra effort.

I always spray the clear orange, it's only the thinned "leather" colour that I brush. I'm afraid that doesn't really help but the issues you're having are one of the main reasons I always spray it!

Very impressive!
Do I assume you will also be modelling the crew's stools? Presumably they were also riveted to the floor.
Over to you @Pete in Lincs

This hatch is directly behind the thunderbox. Can anyone suggest its purpose?
The purpose of the hatch, or the thunderbox? You already mentioned that the hatch was for beaching gear....
Was it on all versions, or just the bog standard one?

PS Love all the white bits, it's really looking good!

Nice work on the fences.
Good luck with the eclipse. I'm in NJ for a couple of FAA observations and so far we've had a nor'easter and an earthquake. I'll pass on the eclipse as I can only handle so much excitement in one week!

I know how you feel about the bike. I still have my 1978 Ducati 900GTS that I bought in 1987 and totally restored. I took it to the US when I moved there in 1998, and it's been in storage for over 15 years. I should sell it and let someone else enjoy it, but I'm now in UAE and it needs to be sold with the spare frame and other bits.
C'est la vie...

I have some Elegoo fast ABS like, and standard resin, and will repeat the print with both to see what happens. Just wasn't particularly impressed with Siraya's reply, with no further suggestions!
