Revell 1/48 Horten\Gotha Go-229 - Nurflügelflugzeug

IMHO Z-M figure in 1/48 is just horrible, no way near other figures at similar price (and they also decided to cast in opaque gray resin the helmet) -

If you are looking for custom-made PE I had great service from Hauler: http://www.etchworks.cz/ It's a bit time consuming job to draw the masks but results are rewarding.- 48 replies

militaryphotos.net was an invaluable source of materials: it's a pity all is gone. -

Brought alive my old PC: these came from the now gone militaryphotos.net, I dont know the original poster there; have another set in hangar during maintenance. I'm sure I have another single photo of another airframe parked outside, have to dig deeper... -

Technically is it possible to have the wings at maximum sweep and flap and slats deployed on a parked aircraft (I have a few photos on my old pc, will look for them) but never seen an armed aircraft parked like that. -
Hi Gabor, what are the best resources available for the MiG-25? Have a lot about Sukhoi and almost nothing about MiGs

In 1/72 scale you would have very few details visible. Look at these pictures from Duxford museum: Duxford 1 Duxford 2 working on the second photo it seems AJ-Press drawings are correct. Duxford 2 Filtered

For Italian ADF look for articles by Pierpaolo Maglio, he is one of the greatest Viper's expert; look also for "L'ultima Diana" build: it's a terrific work starting from the older Kinetic kit.

Thanks Simon The first is the same found on 426sqdn but the second one is new for me. Andrea

Hallo to everyone, this is my first post here on Britmodeller and I am looking for info about late mark Halifax; I am planning to build a Contrail/Sanger 1/48 Halifax that is sleeping on my stash and I would like to build it as "Vicky the vicious virgin" PN230 EQ V of 408 Bombing squadron RCAF; so far I am just collecting reference materials while removing and cleaning parts and I have got: Profile Publications - Handley Page Halifax B III, VI, VII Motorbooks International - Aircraft Archive Bombers of WWII Motorbooks International - Cutaway Aircraft of WWII Airlife - Halifax Second to none Almark Decals 1/72 Granger drawings I have read that "some" late mark aircraft had the external wing bomb bays removed and replaced by fuel tanks, Motorbook drawings reflect this as standard for Mk VII and the NA337 restored in Trenton have only two wing bomb bays too, on the other side Profile drawings of "Vicky" show all 3 bomb bays: which wing layout is correct for my target build? Is there any photo reference of "Vicky" other the small one found on 426sqdn.ca website? Happy modeling Andrea
