  1. That's looking good. From memory, the air filter sat on top of the SU carb with the dashpot sticking out of the air filter housing. That would give you s bit more under bonnet space.
  2. Must think about that transkit once I build up my skill level.
  3. The Italeri one doesn't look right from the doors back in the example above. The Fujimi one looks a lot more accurate.
  4. Watching this and would like to try my hand at a road version once my skills improve.
  5. A lot of the cars mentioned in this post are available as diecast models. If it's viable for them, surely it would be the same for kits?
  6. Nice, and loads of potential to customise it as per the "VeeDub Scene"
  7. I thought they looked Scottish as well. Not "too" Scottish though 😄
  8. That looks amazing. I've never seem this kit before. Looking forward to seeing it progress.
  9. I followed the build thread with interest and you've made a great model. Really enjoyed seeing you put your own ideas in it as most builders would do in the 1:1 car.
  10. I spotted (heard first) two McLarens in Broughty Ferry today. Also a LHD Corvette and an Audi R8. Must be plenty money in "The Ferry".
  11. That Routemaster must be huge. I've got the Tamiya 1/12 Mini Cooper and that's big enough!
  12. That's an incredible build for such a tiny, delicate kit.
  13. That looks excellent. 4. The "trailer stand" you refer to are called "landing legs".
